We had a small group of families. Mix of sleepers in the house and campers. You get all the freedom and natural surroundings of bush camping with the simple pleasures that come with a full resourced home. The creek is divine. The breezes ideal flowing under the verandah. We will be back.

Campground has heaps of potential for future campers, very professional staff who are passionate about providing a good camping experience for all who arrive from those in tents/swags through to those with caravans. Highly recommend a stay, wander down for a dip in the river or for those who fancy throwing a line in, sit back by the campfire near the river and gaze up at the stars for a relaxing evening.

2 nights at Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

Five wonderful nights spent tucked away at Eagles Rest in Findon Creek. Nestled in lush green hillside, this thoughtfully designed, purpose built home provided a peaceful sanctuary. We enjoyed everything from outdoor showers to refreshing dips in swimming holes and relaxing evenings around the fire pit under a star spangled sky. The space allowed us to be completely at one with nature, being surrounded by an abundance of bird song. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we look forward to a return visit. My son and I planned on camping, but the long range weather forecast predicted ridiculously low temperatures and a chance of showers, so we upgraded to Jess' cabin. Talk about having everything we needed. Hot showers, wood fire, warm beds and everything that the fully kitted out cabin had to offer. We really didn't need to bring anything! I was very disappointed when my son discovered NBN internet access. My son, not so much! 😀 Like others before me, I am already planning a return trip in the near future. Thanks. John.

2 nights at Rainforest Gateway

Absolutely loved our stay at Rainforest Gateway! We stayed in unit 1 and 2 and both were very comfortable with lots of nice little touches. The camp kitchen was EXCELLENT- one of the best we have seen. Heaps of space for the kids to explore and not bother other guests. Janine was lovely and very helpful both before and during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

We loved staying in JB's Cabin at Valley's End. It was the perfect space for two families to enjoy a relaxing weekend away. The outlook from the decks of the cabin is beautiful and the whole area so peaceful. Kids loved exploring the creek! We enjoyed having both the inside and outside fire places and the small space heaters in the bedrooms came in handy on a particular chilly morning! My small suggestion would be to add hooks or towel racks in the main bathroom. Thank you Jane and Andrzej for sharing you little piece of paradise with us and your warm hospitality.

Great spot away from the hustle and bustle of modern life…quite a drive away from any towns but that suited us just fine. Creek at the bottom of the drive for kids to play in, Cosy fire for winter and nothing but the sound of nature to greet you in the morning!

Weekend Trip to The Cabin, Ghost Gum Gully

If you want tranquillity in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by wildlife, then this is the place for you. The cabin is a combination of rustic charm and modern comforts. Awesome firepit area which is great for the cooler nights. The host Cara has thought of every little thing you will need. Decor is great - full of lots of little treasures and repurposed items. Plenty of music, books, and games to keep you entertained (there's also tv, wifi, etc if that's your thing). Hubby is 6'4" and had no problem with the loft bed.
