Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including lambs, chickens and foals, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Dogs with hunting or chasing nature are not welcome for the safety of our animals and wildlife. One toilet available. Cleaned daily. BYO if you wish to camp further away from main area. Weekends we provide farm experiences for the kids with feeding and petting sheep, ponies, chickens and egg collecting (quite limited at this stage, but we are expanding). The property is literally at the end of the road, surrounded by the national park and rainforest, which is normally only accessible by 4WD, camping at our property gives you access to a beautiful park and walks which may otherwise be inaccessible. We have 4 sites but only accept one booking at a time perfect for just one tent and a private getaway or for groups of families and friends. If you want to just arrive and immediately relax, in addition to the tents already set up we can also provide a Welcome meal for groups of 6 or more or a breakfast/dinner package. The town is noted for its bakery with donuts, the Kenilworth Dairy and has a growing market on Saturday mornings. The famous Eumundi Markets are 45 minutes away and open on Wednesday and Saturdays. We love celebrating food and a healthy life, and inviting people to enjoy our space is one step, with the vision for the accommodation to support events and education based around food, plant medicine, natural building and celebrating connections with friends, family and nature.

The Croft Horse Trax Oz Blackbutt

Welcome to Blackbutt and the South Burnett Region. We are open again for horse riding and hiking adventures. Camping and relaxing in Blackbutt - The Gateway to the South Burnett. Known for the fantastic outdoor recreation opportunities such as the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and the Bicentennial National Trail both are easily accessible from the property and the Blackbutt trails network 400m up the road. This is a basic outdoor camping experience in the rural residential suburb of Blackbutt North. The HIPCAMP campsites are on a 5 acre block set within 17 acres surrounded by bush blocks. Even though there is heaps of camping space, I have limited the bookings to only 2 powered sites at a time and one unpowered site. The unpowered site can be anywhere on my property. I do also cater for group bookings up to 10 people if it is a horse riding group - but this requires 2 weeks notice and additional fee for hire of toilet facility). I do this for a couple of reasons. First and foremost however, is that I live here for a reason. To enjoy peace and quiet. I want this for those who visit here and I want also to have my peace and quiet even if you are camping! That means no loud music - no blaring lights in my face and no parties! This might sound really boring to some. Well that means you can camp somewhere else. It is about nature, peace and restfulness for everyone. I will do my very best to ensure that you have a peaceful and relaxing time without a heap of other people around. If you want a big camping experience, loud conversations, music and lots of lights that mimic HONG KONG, then maybe the Blackbutt Showgrounds is the place for you. At the Croft you have a few locations to access power. So the sites are varied depending on your needs. Electricity is provided and there is access to drinking water, a composting toilet, fridge and COLD shower in the shed. Self contained however is preferred with a convenient 'dump' site near the showgrounds in town for you to use on your way to your next destination. There is access to rubbish facilities. Breakfast hampers are also available to add to your booking as well as camp oven dinners that you could get on the first night and have sandwiches the rest of the weekend! Horse riders are the main visitors to The Croft as there are safe horse yards and water. Please bring enough feed for them or drop into the Blackbutt Hardware on the way and support our local small businesses. If you bring your own horse and an experienced rider you can book a guided tour or find your way along to the Forestry or to the Bicentennial National Trail which is just a short ride away. Check out the extras if you need a guide for your trail rides or would like to spend time on the obstacle trail course. Green horse trail ride training also available. No loud groups please as this is adjacent to my home and peace and quiet is why I live here. Non smokers ONLY. Other than that please enjoy the space and time away in a very quiet part of the world. There are also lots of birds on the block including kingfishers, wrens, finches and lots more. There is a billabong style dam which horses are most welcome to play in. Pets on leashes welcome as the grounds are fenced but dogs will need to be watched as there are horses on site. The entire 5 acres I have allocated to you my Hipcampers - is dog fenced and if you are here alone they can run free. Note that this is bush - you need to ensure your dogs have tick protection. Welcome to the 'Three Mile Creek' a cattle and donkey farm. Our property is located in the beautiful Glastonbury area, which is between Gympie and Widgee. Only 9kms to local Woolworths, Fuel Station, Chemist, Pub and Bottleo. The 'Three Mile Creek' winds its way through the property, providing beautiful shady camping areas and nice water holes to cool down on a hot day. Camping areas are secluded from the main road. Sites are along the creek, out in the open paddocks, or amongst the tall stands of bamboo. All with easy access for 4WD/Campers/Caravans. We have three large dams for swimming and kayaking (kayaks provided onsite). All sites have fire pits with no shortage of firewood, fires must be contained and supervised at all times. Some sites have picnic tables. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and camp rubbish with them on departure. Perfect place to just relax or use as a base to do day trips to explore our beautiful region and what it has to offer. Pets are most welcome, but must be supervised and on leash at night, and if livestock are around.

Black cockatoo etc. ACTIVITIES BY NEGOTIATION We can do led pony rides for kids 30 mins Horseback walking tour of property for adult beginners Trail ride off property for advanced riders HIRE - gold detector, pans, kayaks, yabbie pots, inflatable floating chairs. Bring your own horse and it can use the yards and have water provided for free - ride various close by segments of the national trail. Gallop over endless sandflats at Tuan on the Great Sandy Straights, see the brumbies on the pine forest trails. TRAIL BIKES - kids with no bigger than 50cc welcome but must ride in designated area under full parental supervision. For adults there are huge state forests next door with fantastic trails as will as the sand trails in the enormous pine forests close by. PARTY SHED - if you wish to have a bit of a party, band, get together etc we have a pretty groovy 100 year old shed for hire.

A short 2.5 hours from Brisbane and nestled in the magical Sunshine Coast Hinterland, our property is surrounded by Conondale National Park. Featuring 60 acres of lush rainforest, soft grass, a running creek and lots of wildlife, we are working towards our important vision of regeneration, natural building and traditional organic farming. Booloumba Creek runs along the boundary and has crystal clear waters with a magical rainbow of coloured rocks in the creek. The property is literally at the end of the road, surrounded by the national park and rainforest, which is normally only accessible by 4WD, camping at our property gives you access to a beautiful park and walks which may otherwise be inaccessible. We have 4 sites but only accept one booking at a time perfect for just one tent and a private getaway or for groups of families and friends. Message to discuss any special group needs including catering or how to book a group into multiple sites. If you want to just arrive and immediately relax, in addition to the tents already set up we can also provide a Welcome meal for groups of 6 or more or a breakfast/dinner package. Please message for details and availability. We are a 10 minute drive from the township of Kenilworth where you’ll be able to pick up supplies for your holiday. The town is noted for its bakery with donuts, the Kenilworth Dairy and has a growing market on Saturday mornings. The famous Eumundi Markets are 45 minutes away and open on Wednesday and Saturdays. We love celebrating food and a healthy life, and inviting people to enjoy our space is one step, with the vision for the accommodation to support events and education based around food, plant medicine, natural building and celebrating connections with friends, family and nature.

We are located along the Yabba Creek just west of Imbil. Only 3km past Imbil township and 10km to Borumba Dam. Our property boast exquisite views of the Yabba creek bordering Mount Granger and forestry as our backdrop. We have deep swimming holes as well as shallow areas for the little ones. Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Attractions include kayaking (limited number provided) fishing, bush walking and wildlife watching. Platypus are frequently sighted in the Yabba creek. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including lambs, chickens and foals, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Dogs with hunting or chasing nature are not welcome for the safety of our animals and wildlife. One toilet available. Cleaned daily. BYO if you wish to camp further away from main area. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Weekends we provide farm experiences for the kids with feeding and petting sheep, ponies, chickens and egg collecting (quite limited at this stage, but we are expanding). Bring your push bike and tour the farm trails or further into the neighbouring Imbil Forestry.
