Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

Platypus Point was such a beautiful campsite, we stayed for a weekend but wish we had the whole week as it was so serene and relaxing. We honestly kept forgetting we were less than an hour from the city. Lexi and Kieren were also wonderful hosts, we really felt so welcomed and privileged to stay on their property. The directions for arrival were clear, we even got a map from the gate on the way in with some helpful tips and facts about the area. The communication throughout the whole trip was really appreciated as well, they made sure to let us know about a few truck deliveries and noises but we weren’t bothered by it at all. There was also kayaks left on the campsite which was just another added bonus on our trip as we spent most of our time on the water, which was also beautiful. Hopefully we’ll come back soon and be able to stay for longer as we had such an amazing time.

Lovely cleared area with easy access to the river bank. Caught plenty of catfish, a couple turtles, a perch and a bass on our one night stay. I am pretty certain I saw a platypus also, a brown wide backed creature popped up and ducked back under the water pretty swiftly around 630am to the right of the point. Very private area and quiet. Saw one boat zoom past while we were fishing. Make sure you bring wood as the campfire ring was great to sit around at night. The lovely owners had freshly mowed the grass just before our arrival and had left a handy page of notes on the property for us at the gateway. We will definitely be back :) thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Great spot, close to everything (Beachmere is a lovely area with cafes and shops and a terrific tidal beach which is fun for dogs!) Also cl9se to Bribie, but Scott's land felt nicely far enough away and quiet. Having a shower and a Loo is a real plus for us. And a campfire which sets the scene! Only 40 odd minutes from home meant we were able to get into 'away for the weekend' vibes quickly!! Would recommend Scott's place!

This was a perfect Hipcamp experience. Everything from the communication, instructions, views, kayaks to use and ammenities were outstanding. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay and relax with this view. We didn’t get lucky with the platypus this time, but so many birds, turtles and lizards. We had a big downpour in the morning but managed to get out no problem. The hosts, Kieran and Lexi, were so kind. They checked in re weather warnings, offered help in case, early check in to ensure the place was mowed in time, and even refunded me a night because my car wasn’t drivable, no fault of theirs. Thank you both so much, we can’t wait to come back!

Had the most relaxing time staying at platypus point, and will definitely be making it a regular stop! The scenery is to die for, so tranquil with the most spectacular sunset over the river. So much wildlife to spot, and exploring the creek looking for platypus is definitely a core memory. Camp-site is clean and well maintained, with a great firepit and picnic table which is so handy. Being warmer weather, we did spot one pretty little eastern brown snake, so be sensible and wear decent footwear when exploring. Remember it's their home first, and we are just visiting! Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Thanks so much once again, we cant wait to come back.

Had such a beautiful stay at Lexi and Kieran’s land. From the moment I arrived, Lexi was absolutely lovely — warm and welcoming. There’s only one campsite on the property, so we had the whole place entirely to ourselves, which made it feel extra peaceful and private. The view of the river was just stunning. Took the kayak out for a paddle and it was so calm and relaxing on the water. My two dogs had the best time exploring, playing, and just being out in nature — it was perfect for them. Everything about this spot was serene, clean, and well looked after. Such a great place to camp if you’re looking for quiet, space, and a beautiful natural setting. Highly recommend, and I’d happily come back again.

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately. NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

Our 1000 acres mountain top working cattle and horses farm is only 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD, and offers spectacular Glasshouse mountains and ocean views. You can bring your own self-contained camping set-up, be it a tent, caravan, or motorhome, or stay in our bunkhouse that sleeps 10. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View Rd - do not go that way - go through Dayboro Rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

Only an hour north west from Brisbane, just over half an hour north from Ipswich. We now have toilets. A semi self contained caravan is coming soon, hopefully ready by the Christmas holidays. We purchased our block as a rural escape. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water. Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed). Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole. A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area. 15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery). 20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun. Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike. We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Please read all of the following information before submitting a booking request. Requests that don’t provide the required information will not be processed. Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot! We offer a choice of sites- either Lower Sites close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property or Elevated Sites with views of the valley. LOWER SITES have access to facilities- toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. These are the only sites that caravans can access. ELEVATED SITES have stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites. When submitting a booking request, select either a Lower Site or Elevated Site. Please include your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if requesting an elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs). Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather dependant. We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top. Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking. We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you. All camp fires must be fully extinguished with water prior to departure.

Undullah-Moore farm nestle beside mt elliot and flinders peak.5 ks as the crow flys Flinders peak is a good attraction for those who like a challenge to get to the top for awesome views of the local area. This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area. Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing . How to get to us? We have two ways in . Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey ! ⸻ Important Notes: • Each site allows ONE vehicle + ONE caravan or camper van or roof top,swags ,tent If you’re visiting with friends or as a group, please make Booking per site we have areas for groups that want to be away from the main open area if you would like this please contact us so We can facilitate private areas for groups. •we have toilet and shower facilities available near the camp kitchen up on top of the hill area and rubbish bin provided on site. Which is 150 mtrs from the main open space area. The camp kitchen area and camp ground can be booked for private functions when available. Fees apply. This area also has free wifi, foxtel large tv for those who like there sports and don’t want to miss the game. phone service is not real good down by the creek some service in locations Only up on the hills phone service is availble and wifi .
