I really enjoyed staying at this Hipcamp
It was my first ever time doing a solo camping adventure
All the instructions on how to get there were very clear and after I set up in a great location Tom came around and checked up on. Everybody made sure everything was fine and although the weather wasn’t great I had a wonderfully peaceful night and was woken up in the morning of the resident Cows.
I wished I had a booked an extra night, but I definitely will be back

Our dog had lots of fun. Trees provided shade from the sun. The cows went home when the day was done. In terms of towns and beaches, Pottsville was a close one.
Campsites were evenly spaced. Very relaxing, the day was slow paced. So many stars in the aerospace. We spent so many hours at the fireplace (2pm until 12am).
The toilets were as clean as could be. Our time there was care-free. Rolling hills as far as we could see. Time so fun we forgot about tv. A bit scary at night… bourgeoisie?

Very pleasant stay away from everything and still close to the M1, so easy to access. Plenty space for each camper on a huge property. Perfect with kids with a lot of things to explore + cows.
A bit expensive for basic amenities but that was a last minute booking on a busy weekend so, fair I guess.

Platypus creek was an ideal location for wanting secluded and serene camping, yet a 5-10 min drive to Pottsville town centre. Tom is an excellent host who made the whole process from booking to leaving easy. The camp site is extremely well cared for, clean & unspoilt by previous campers. We recommend Platypus creek to new campers or seasoned travellers.

We had a great stay at Sleepy hollow Estate
We received a recommendation and rightly so
It did not disappoint.
The land was very well looked after and so spacious.
We parked right on the top ridge and had 360 views of the land.
We found the property easy to find.
We will be back for sure.
Tom the host was very easy to chat with and checked in to see if we were happy throughout our stay.

Weekend Trip to The Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate
Magical.. pure magic. Beautiful beautiful land and a lovely family running the farm. Everywhere you look your met with beauty, creeks, hills, cows, kookaburras, beetles, bees, wildflowers…. and so much more. Here everything slowed down. Oh and at night time, the stars, pure magic yet again. Perfect place to get away.

Absolutely beautiful property! Heaps of space away from other campers. We adored our spot near the creek, which we had a little paddle in. Fire wood available to purchase, and pet friendly!
Tom (who owns the property) was such a legend and so friendly and helpful.
The wake-up call from the friendly cows making their way through our campsite to the next paddock was just an amazing bonus and was definitely the highlight of our stay!
We will absolutely be back!
