Weekend Trip to Glenelg Station
The Drover cabin is really special. After a few cold beers in the cooling summer afternoon. Scrubbing yourself clean in the bathtub among the gumtrees and local fauna is truly a peaceful experience. It was wasn’t too hot at night and a fan was provided and already turned on when we arrived.
A fridge, gas stove, hot water as well all the basic things like coffee and pots and pans. It really was a very easy and care free experience.
Reminiscent of a Wild West tv show, sitting on the deck with a book as the light faded, it was like stepping back in time. Old whips, saddle parts, books and many other old trinkets and quirks the more you looked the more you found.
Cozy and romantic for couples and a real intriguing stay for history geeks. Absolutely loved it.

I cannot recommend this camp enough! the owners Heidi and Damen were so welcoming and were able to answer any and all questions we had! The cabin was remarkably presented and the surrounding property was lovely and well maintained! The goats and miniature horses were definitely a highlight and a great piece of entertainment, especially when the food came out! It was easy to find, peaceful and secluded all whilst being close to town! No complaints, we will be back for sure!

Sitting at the base of Mt Barney and with a small creek for you to cool off and swim, very safe for kids and little ones, very close access to main hikes of Mt Barney, the hosts were lovely and thoroughly enjoyed our chats with them! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had the Koala Cottage for two nights. It had all the creature comforts of home which was nice as the heavens opened up on our first night. Very well appointed, great stock in the kitchen with adequate utensils, appliances etc. would recommend to friends and family and will definately stay again. Only wish is that there was a boat ramp or a pontoon to get out past the reeds and tree stumps. I scraped and cut my foot on a tree root trying to go for a swim. A little dangerous for someone unsteady. It would be nice if there was a convenience shop even for icecream for the kids would be a plus! But, we had a fantastic time nevertheless. Thankyou to the caretakers for making us feel welcome!

Everything was clean and tidy and amenities were very convenient. It's set in a lovely area. However very hot in the wooden cabins, next time I will come up with a plan for that, it was still a great stay.

Weekend Trip to Run Amac
Kim’s place is so peaceful and quiet! The stars at night were incredible and the bird life, beautiful. Kim’s an excellent host and the property is easy to find/get to. A perfect getaway for 2 nights in the gorgeous bell tent 😊
