Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We have a range of accommodation including powered and unpowered camp sites, group camp areas, bunk style cabins and a fully self-contained cabin. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

The place is quiet compared with the major camp site at Lake moogerah, and it’s well maintained and with beautiful scenery. I would like to stay with them again if I visit lake Moogerah in the future.

Well maintained campsite and powered cabins with bunks. Great facilities; kitchen, hot showers and fire pits/firewood available on site. Very accessible from Brisbane, Ipswich or Gold Coast. Nice wineries and cafes within half an hour drive. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed in a 12 bed cabin with access to amenities block and camp kitchen. Perfect to keep out of 2 degree winter and still enjoy a campfire each night with our kids. Kangaroos every morning and afternoon to watch chew on the grass. Family time, no screen time....no internet. Great place to unwind. Dog friendly on a leash. We loved the serenity.

The Drover was simply amazing to get away to, we were only there for a night it certainly wasn’t enough to stay and enjoy it as much as we would have liked. But our one night was nothing short of perfect, Amanda has done an absolutely fantastic job at creating the perfect feel and vibe of their beautiful land. We had an amazing time. The animals were so friendly and visits from the dogs Spud and Willow were loved by my son. Very private and immaculate. The cabin has every thing you need! We had a group with some of us in tents. There was plenty of room. The kids loved feeding and playing with the animals. The views was amazing!! We will be back

Staying in the Bunk Cabin with 3 travelling dogs was a breezy break from swag camping! With the help of a couple portable dog fences we could hang out on the balcony & have lazy days inside, which was a welcome change during wet weather. The huge outdoor space meant we could go for stress-free walks, the amenities were 20m away & the circular common space in the middle was perfect for mingling or doggy wee breaks! My staffy loved seeing campers pull up behind us over the weekend, wagged her tail at the window the whole time 🐶 I had acquired a scared Kelpie who sleeps happiest in the canopy, the staff placed me in the far/quiet bunk house because I could park my car next to it 🥰 Very grateful for our stay!!

2nd visit to Duchess Farm and it was more fun the second time round (thanks to the weather). It is a great place to switch off and chill with the family (but still have 4G if really needed).. The Children love interacting with and feeding the animals, and great to get around the camp fire at night for a chat. There will be a 3rd visit in the future i'm sure.
