This was a beautiful spot to stay. A little oasis of greenery, with a lovely shade campsite and grass to pitch our tent on. There was a great bathroom set up with toilet and shower which was very clean and well kept. Andrew and Michelle were amazing hosts. They checked in on us daily and were more than happy to help or answer questions. They even provided our 2yo with toys to entertain her at camp! The peacocks were a real hit with our little one, she is still talking about them 2 weeks later! I highly recommend this stay.

We had such a relaxing stay at this peaceful camping resort! The vibe is super chilled, and the managers Julie and Mick are absolutely lovely—so welcoming and helpful. Theres Happy hour upstairs on the big shadey deck , and having the restaurant onsite is a big plus for those nights when you just don’t feel like cooking. The pool was a real highlight for a cool dip after a long day exploring the surrounding attractions and springs. We also loved the adorable baby ducklings, the quirky mix of ducks waddling around, and of course, George the Turkey is a local legend. Its a great spot to unwind and soak up some serenity!

This site has been very relaxing, central to Darwin and shopping centres but still close to tourist attractions , Tim was very helpful in extending our stay , our only criticism would be with the power, only10 amp plugs when most vans have 15 amp , even tho there are some extension leads provided its not ideal. Having a washing machine to use free of charge is a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our powered site was grassy and shady. The sites are really big. The ablutions are great, nice and clean, plenty of them and the water pressure in the shower is on point. Enough washing machines to go around, they are card paid. There is a resident turkey and ducks which come and say hi daily which is pretty cool. A very peaceful place to stay and only 30 minutes from Darwin which makes it a great place to base yourself to explore, which we did. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful spot close enough to everything but with a country , bush atmosphere. Big sites with only us and another very quiet family camping. Amenities were clean and were all that was needed. Tim was very accommodating, letting adjust our booking at the last minute. I would suggest ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as neighbouring dogs barked quite a bit some nights. Other than that a great place to camp close to Darwin. Thanks Tim !!

Green Acres is located in Bynoe, just over an hour and a half drive from Darwin in the Northern Territory. We have five spacious powered sites and plenty of non-powered sites available. We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing. We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy. The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment. There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire. The weather is warm and the site behind our pool is a nice space to be! It is lovely to be in a space where you are the only camper! The tropical gardens provide privacy and abundant bird life. The property is safe and secluded in the rural suburb of Virginia. We are situated in the Darwin Rural area on 5 acres of bush land with tropical gardens and a saltwater swimming pool. There is a variety of bird life, lizards, frogs, and possums. You can feed our friendly butcher birds and King Fishers on the fly from our verandah or pool area. Sit with the fish pond and chat with the turtle who is very shy! We have dogs that live at the property so pets on application only. (we do have a dog cage available if required and can pet sit for a day if required ) We have caravan sites for fully self-contained caravans and unpowered sites in the horse yard. There is a single shower / toilet block available at the top of the driveway. We do have power to some sites, and we would appreciate it if you do not leave air conditioners running while you are off site. If you are travelling in a group, we can accommodate you in a large open area if your group would like to stay together. Each caravan site has its own fireplace for your use. Only 5 minutes from Palmerston or Coolalinga, 25 minutes from Darwin CBD. If you are looking for a local fishing tour, we can hook you up with the locals. We have many fishing and crabbing locations close by on the Elizabeth River, Middle Arm or around Darwin Harbour. Darwin is the gateway to the amazing Kakadu National Park. There are many popular waterfront areas with several beaches and green areas like Bicentennial Park. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are some good fishing and mountain biking spots. We are located on a 5-acre block on the edge of town. The top 2 acres are laid out in a tropical garden setting, with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. You'll feel like you're a whole world away yet you will only be 2 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from a large shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Darwin's CBD. We are a small boutique site and only have currently 3 sites on the 5 acres. Your site is private and you will be able to enjoy your stay without interference from others. IMPORTANT: Each site can accommodate 2 adults MAX. If you have 3 or 4 adults, you will need to book both sites. Please note Pool site is open all year round and has permanent cover. Other sites are dependant on weather and access.
