Wanting to escape the crowds? You need to go Somewhere Else! This is an exclusive and unique little getaway spot. Plenty of birds can be seen and heard around the shady and peaceful campsite and you may see some wallaroos that sometimes visit or pass by the campsite. Sit back, relax and soak up nature. Take a stroll to the campsite lookout. Enjoy some spectacular night time star gazing. There is no phone reception so you can be fully immersed in your outdoor experience. We are located just over 1.5 hours from Darwin, and about halfway between Katherine and Darwin via an old section of the original Stuart Highway. With only one site available you will have plenty of space and privacy. There is however enough space for 3 - 4 vehicles with vans so if you are travelling with your mates as a group you may book for extra vehicles. Please go to "Extras" in the booking platform to add additional vehicles and select "Add to Trip". We are just 15 minutes to Robin Falls, 20 minutes to Litchfield National Park's southern entry*, 30 minutes to Adelaide River, 45 minutes to Daly River, and about 1 hour to Butterfly Gorge. You will have plenty to see and do throughout your stay with us. Pets on a leash are welcome. Campers must have their own toilet and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. *Access is subject to seasonal conditions so please check the NT Road Report for the current status.

We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing. We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy. The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment. There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire. We also have a toilet and shower available for campers. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash upon arrival and under your control at all times. We enjoyed the seclusion in amongst the bush but whilst having a flushing loo and shower nearby if we needed it. Was very quiet no traffic noise and youre far enough away from other sites for their noise not to interrupt you too much.

Weekend Trip to Green Acres

Myself and my wife greatly enjoyed our stay at Faye's Green Acres. It was very shady and relaxed, and central to everything on the Cox Penninsula. We will certainly be recommending Green Acres to any friends who are looking for a place to camp. Faye is a friendly and gracious host, whom we both enjoyed meeting and whose land we look forward to camping on again in the future. My wife also loved meeting Buster (so did I).

This is an excellent Hipcamp to make home while you explore the surrounding areas. Having both potable water and power available means you still have some of the luxury and essentials normally only found in a Caravan Park. As the name implies, this Hipcamp is set in a location with an abundance of various fruit trees. We spent a glorious week here and a bonus, as the name implies, a fruity treat was left at our door on 4 occasions. Bananas, Pawpaw, Star Apple and other fruit with a name I can't recall. David's father who also lives onsite is a delight to chat with and always happy to share his knowledge. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to other travellers seeking an affordable, and quiet camp site.

I loved everything! Safe place! Full sky clouding and clearing just to amaze! There was fire log left at campfire, was lot useful! Kangaroo carrying babys just by your camp and wallabies running around! And there were campers around but didnt even feel any presence than self! Was amazing and lots of thanks to friendly staffs, who helped alot!

Weekend Trip to Parson Springs Bush Stay

We loved camping at Parsons Springs camp in our 21 ft caravan. It was a lovely peaceful rural setting. Great bird life for twitchers.. We stayed on 2 seperate occasions in different sites during our visit to the NT. We found it a great base to explore Darwin and surrounding areas. Thank you Tynan it was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this camp to everyone travelling.

What an incredible camp! We are absolutely in LOVE with it! After traveling for three months from Perth to Darwin, we can confidently say this is one of our top favorites. The hot showers are such a delightful luxury! 💦😉 The fireplaces add an amazing touch, too. It's clear that it's a passion project done with so much love.
