Amazing views, nestled in nature and only 1 minute off the highway. Located close to the Forster-Tuncurry exit. We are located 3 hours north of Sydney and 5 hours south of the QLD Border making it a convenient stop over for your travels, or a nice place to stop and explore the local areas being close to beaches and the Barrington Tops. The property has spectacular views that you won't find anywhere else. We are in a quiet rural area where the neighbours can't be seen. There are walking tracks for you to explore the natural environment. There are many kangaroos, wallabies and numerous amount of birds in the area. The property backs onto national park. There is a river that is only a few kms behind the property that you can put a small boat in to take you out to Saltwater Beach. Old bar beach is a 12 minute drive, Forster-Tuncurry is 15 minutes and the beaches of Pacific Palms a 45 minute drive. There are file piles near the bush sites that you can help yourself too. If in need of groceries or supplies Taree supermarkets and Stores are only 10 minutes away.

Our Kindred Acres is in the perfect position with so much to offer locally including wildlife, fishing, boating, swimming, bush walking, bird watching, bike riding, relaxing, and the overwhelming enjoyment of mother nature at her best. Our jaw-dropping Camp Kitchen has all things required to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Accessible to RVs, camper trailers, tents caravans. Guests to be self-sufficient with their own water, power, shower/toilet facilities, cooking facilities. Bathroom facilities on request. Camp Kitchen is a communal area for all guests, leave clean and tidy. Leave No Trace – please take all rubbish/items and dispose correctly. Dogs on request, friendly and well behaved, restrained on arrival as we have free range chooks. Pick up dog poo and take it with you. National Parks are nearby, you should familiarise yourself with their domestic pet rules; locations, all available on the NSWNP website. Fires – on arrangement, you are welcome to bring your own firepit and firewood or OKA can supply. Before setting up, we will organise pavers and sand to ensure our grass is protected. We do have firewood available to purchase, 20kg @ $20.00. Firewood/Kindling collection is not permitted without our consent. Permission to use generators & chainsaws must be sought. If granted, generators to be super quiet and off between 9pm and 7am. Our 10pm noise curfew is for the enjoyment of all guests. We had a beautiful spot right on the water. The view, the bird life and the peacefulness made for a lovely camping spot. The amenities were clean with plentiful hot water and the management very friendly. Lots of families as it was close to Xmas, but we never felt crowded in. Definitely recommend. Only wish we'd brought the SUP's.

1 night at NRMA Myall Shores Holiday Park

Our first night out in our Motorhome and for me, first night under the stars in the southern hemisphere. Myall Shores set a very high bar! Site was immaculate, uncrowded and the pitch lovely, backing straight onto the water. We woke to a family of kangaroos right behind our van, joey playfully bouncing all over the place until scolded by the big male and straight into its Mum’s pouch. Possums, ducks, egrets, pelicans and wee (1m long) dinosaur all visited us at breakfast time - couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to Australia. The site was very peaceful, facilities clean and tidy and staff very helpful - the location beautiful!

we selected a site 5 amongst the tall gums, watching the dappled light shine through the tree tops and the sound of the birds was peacefull, the location was only 5 mins off the highway but very quiet without any traffic noise it was a great stop on our way further south, it is a large site with tall trees, branches and logs were gathered up against the tree by the host, excellent thought. we loved the setting greg

This place is an absolute delight. Very peaceful and welcoming. Me and the kids loved playing with the dog, walking around the property and making use of the shared covered area and kitchen facilities. The shower was a great bonus to wash the sand away at the end of the day. We will definitely be back :)

This is a great place to stop for the night, so close to the highway yet surrounded by nature (no road noise). The directions were very clear and signage made it even easier. Accessibility is great for large vehicles towing large caravans. The sites are very well maintained and spaced out. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights at OKA. Beautiful peaceful location with majestic trees filled with staghorns and a lovely dam with pretty water lilies. The facilities are well maintained and the camp kitchen is amazing - complete with chandeliers and lots of eclectic things to look at. Kellie and Rod were very welcoming as was their beautiful dog Ruby.

What a beautiful property, beautifully maintained, clean, tidy, very friendly hosts, the donga was very nice and the big verandah was very handy as we had other family members with small children camping with us, this made meal time outside very nice. I would recommend this property to anyone. The fishing was good too.
