Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Bring your pets . Enjoy bushwalks on our 110 acre property. Enjoy a stroll to the creek. Enjoy a swim in the dam. Enjoy the peace amongst the protected bushland. Access: The driveway to the property is long and steep. A 4WD/AWD is recommended although not required. We make it up and down there in a Honda City every day however the first drive up may be a little daunting. If you have any concerns, please let us know and an alternative access may be arranged upon request and depending on the booking dates. The Site: The campsite has its own access and is surrounded by garden and bush with abundant wildlife. There are two dams nearby one of which has two kayaks for you to use and you can go for beautiful walks to explore the surrounding conservation bush land. A camping toilet with a small tent around is provided by us. The host’s house is a 5 minute walk away from the tent on the same property but cannot be seen or heard. While we are always available for questions and anything you need, we also value our privacy and will respect yours. Optional Breakfast includes: - Home-made granola - Cornflakes - Home-made bread - Jams - Nutellex - Free organic coffee; green and black tea - Free locally made organic herbal teas - Natural Harvest brand almond, soy or oat milk Optional Lunch/Dinner: - We have a variety of frozen home-cooked meals available for purchase if you just want to have a healthy meal without leaving the property. We also have frozen pizza or pies available for purchase. - We have a variety of local Hunter Valley wines, champagnes and beers available for purchase if you feel like a drink but don’t want to go for a drive. Kids: Babies and kids are more than welcome! We can provide a portacot, a baby bath, high chair and baby or kids toys upon request and if there is anything else you need to make your stay easier or more comfortable just let us know. The Boathouse Retreat @ Elvina Bay is a cosy, peaceful hideaway located on the water at Elvina Bay. It is only accessible by boat which makes it more of an experience . Nestled on the edge of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park with views across Pittwater, I invite you to come and enjoy the peace only a location like the Boathouse Retreat @ Elvina Bay can offer which includes experiencing bush walks to the top and bottom of the waterfall and Aboriginal Carvings as well as kayaking to the surrounding beautiful bays, to swimming off the jetty. The boathouse is fully self-contained with a comfortable queen-size bed, a well-equipped kitchen, toilet and hot rainwater shower with bath towels provided. The Boathouse has heating for winter and a brazier for your toasty outdoor fire. You can come by your own vessel and tie it up on the pontoon if you wish during your stay . The pontoon accommodates vessels from 12ft - 50ft. Please contact us to discuss if doing so. You can come by Sea Plane if you wish from Sydney and if you do I can meet you at the mouth of the bay in my boat, or I can arrange to pick you up from the carpark at the Church Pt Ferry Wharf in my boat to take you across to the Boathouse. At the end of your stay I'm more than happy to take you back to Church Pt in my boat. No Fishing , no smoking no vaping , no kids and pets please. PID-STRA-11678
