Valley View Farm, Hunter Valley

Valley View Farm is located in the beautiful upper Hunter Valley - home of racehorses and wineries.
We are spread out over 40 acres, set in a picturesque 600-acre valley, with Mount Dangar dominating the skyline. Our property
is set on top of a huge inland sandbank/cliff, with deep gorges on two sides, which gives amazing valley views. Due to these cliffs, our property is not suitable for groups with small children, and older children must be supervised at all times.
The valley is service by a dirt Crown road, snaking through private land, this acts as an excellent walking track with minimal traffic, there is also exploring through the native bush up in the mountains.
Plenty of wildlife abounds, including
kangaroos, wombats, lizards, birdlife, and not too many snakes!
The property is accessed via a 6km
dirt road, off the Golden Highway, with some corrugations.
We do recommend SUV or 4WD however
others have accessed it via 2WD successfully.
I drive my horse float up there all the time, and provided your caravan or car isn't too low clearance, it should be fine. Any concerns, please discuss with us prior to booking. When we've had heavy rain, this will hinder access for 2WD vehicles until the water drains, which it does quickly. For this reason, please keep an eye on the weather on your arrival day.
We currently offer 4 camping sites - 2 in our back paddock which are 4WD accessible only, and 2 in our front paddocks, both with easy access to the flushing toilet and one with exclusive use
of a large 9x9m
shelter. Please see each listing for further details.

The Waterhole 1: A communal haven boasting 20 campsites, nestled by serene dams teeming with Silver Perch and Murray Cod. While facilities include portaloos without showers, the allure of kayaking or cooling off in the dam awaits. Accessible via 4WD, guests can traverse the trails on foot or by bike. Pet-friendly, but leashes are recommended due to abundant wildlife.

Picturesque Maiden Jewel: Spanning the rest of the property, it hosts over 50 campsites, both Private and Communal.

The Long Flat Waterhole 2: Positioned at the property's front, offering easy access to a delightful swimming dam. Ideal for families, it features vast open spaces for recreational activities. Camping here grants access to all waterholes on the property.

For seekers of solitude, inquire about our private sites, like The View Campsite, Hillside Camp, and The Bluff, each boasting spectacular vistas and proximity to fishing and swimming spots.

YellowScone Adventures cater for Glamping escapes to equine enthusiasts, offering various packages allowing guests to bring their horses along. Camp and ride at your leisure, or opt for a unique experience by camping in our Bell tents, with catering services available.

Doyles Creek Camp

160acres of cleared gentle rolling hills beside natural bush with trails.

This adjoins mountains on one side and the clean, clear creek on the bottom side. 7 large private flat camping sites, all slashed and over half Km apart.

There is plenty of room for 4, 5 or 6 caravans wanting to camp in groups or sites for 1 caravan or camper to stay independently.  

Camp fires permitted until fire restrictions start, firewood is available on request.

Ideal for bush walking, bird watching, kayaks, mountain bikes, mountain climbing.

Pets permitted under owners control.  

There are sheep, quiet horses including a friendly Shetland pony, chickens and ducks. All animals enjoy having their photos taken with guests.

Bring tents, caravans, trailers, RV's.

The road into property is good, it has been repaired after the recent rain.

Generators allowed. No power.

Campers to dispose of their own waste and rubbish.

The property is situated 25km to Denman, 50km to Singleton, 50 Km to Muswellbrook.  11 km to Jerry's Plains Tavern where meals are available, also a service station with fuel and food .  18km to Hollydene Vineyard, Winery and Restaurant.

There is mobile phone reception to most of the camp sites.

Pinnacle Camp

Camping is available on a secluded and tranquil area on our organic farm, located in steep gorge country. Cleared areas with grass tracks provide for relaxing bushwalks or energetic mountain biking across the hilly terrain which extends to heavily timbered, steep terrain up to a lookout for scenic views to surrounding valleys.

The local geology is a mix of basalt and conglomerate, creating wonderful rocky outcrops to explore.

The organic farm is ideal for bird watchers, nature lovers, those who love an unspoiled, private spot to camp. There is limited phone service along the hilltops should it be needed. We are happy to offer a digital detox on this part of the farm, where you can be soothed by nature’s birdsong and vibrant beauty. We do have cattle grazing the property and therefore we ask that you do not bring your pets. Access to East Camp is 4wd only and during dry weather only. 4wd camper vans and trailers are not able to access the Hut and camps with amenities.

East Camp is an exclusive camp located on a grassy hilltop with extensive views across the valley. This is 4wd only with access for some 4WD campervans and trailers. Self-contained adventurers only. BYO toilet. Limited phone service.

Beelisco Honey Hipcamp

Creek update: Creek is currently dry!

Great for group bookings... just add your extra people to your booking, as extras. You will have the whole campsite to yourself with your group only.

We only run two campsite's here, the main site and the creek site but you can book in extra people on your booking to have a group camp with YOU!! 

Each campsite has its own pit style loo! 

There IS Phone service  (TELSTRA Only) 

We have firewood available to purchase in extras. 

Large roomy grassy ALL FLAT level campsites, suitable for all vehicle access, so great to get away camping with friends or family. 

Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping spot is set on 300acres located in the beautiful valley of Baerami Creek and surrounded by the amazing mountain views of Wollemi National Park. We are located just off the Bylong Valley Way, so a great spot to spend a night or two if travelling through. There are some amazing mountain views and a very tranquil peaceful camping spot.

Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out and all sites are grassy and level. 

Great spot to relax, chill and take in the amazing country air and surroundings, relax by a fire, cook marshmallows or a camp oven feast. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. Of a night you will be amazed at how many stars you can see, it is just beautiful, so don't forget to look up.

 Our farm is a family run business with Husband, wife and 2 young boys, we run horses and cattle all year round and grow Lucerne hay on a few large flats around the farm.
