Riverview is just a five-minute drive from the famous Bega Cheese Factory located in Bega, NSW. Our 33-acre property has 360-degree views of mountains, rolling farmland, and countryside and it overlooks the beautiful Bega River.
Tathra is just 15 minutes drive away, with Merimbula around 25 minutes, Bermagui 45 minutes, and Eden 35 minutes. All of these towns have beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, whale-watching tours, and much more.
Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site. The Bega river is clean fresh water and is well worth a visit on a hot day to cool off. Your hosts can show you a secluded area of the river that you can access easily. The whole area has an array of beautiful spots to explore both on the property and along the riverside. Jackie is always willing to give fresh produce from her veggie garden during your stay just to make you feel welcome. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread.
The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive.

376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. Brogo Dam is excellent location for a swim and to take your dogs for a walk or swim. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach.
The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds.
The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views.
in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf.
There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed.
To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is.
To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here.
To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley.
For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui.
For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.

Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland.
The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away.
The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes.
The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds.
We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen.
We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

He is very social and friendly however. please supervise small children at all times, if your dog is not familiar with livestock please do not allow them to roam or have them tied up so they do not chase him! Please only feed him apples, carrots or lettuce/ cabbage leaves
a bag of carrots is available for purchase if you wish for a hand feed experience-
Please do not feed him bread as it makes him cranky !

• offer an evening round the fire pit, if the conditions are suitable

The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away.
The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes.
The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds.
We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen.
We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Our beautiful Seahorse Chester likes to hang out with the campers. He is very social and friendly however. please supervise small children at all times, if your dog is not familiar with livestock please do not allow them to roam or have them tied up so they do not chase him! Please only feed him apples, carrots or lettuce/ cabbage leaves
a bag of carrots is available for purchase if you wish for a hand feed experience-
Please do not feed him bread as it makes him cranky !

Glennbrooke River Camp offers approximately 1.2 km of stunning river frontage which feeds into the beautiful Wagonga Inlet.
Campers are required to be fully self sufficient with their OWN toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. LEAVE NO TRACE.

The property borders Bodalla State Forest and Box Cutting rainforest walk where you can find multiple mountain bike and walking tracks.
We are just 15 minutes from beautiful Narooma beach and township where you can find everything you need for your stay.
There is also a fire pit available at each site and you can purchase firewood,Let us know what you require and we have it ready for your stay.
Pets are welcome but please only let them off-leash if they are friendly and won't disturb other campers.
Free Dump points are located at Dalmeny and Moruya.
Please note: Whilst we can accept motorhomes and campervans in normal weather conditions, if there has been heavy rain access is effected and these vehicles will struggle to get to the campsites. We will do our best to keep an eye on the weather report, and let you know if we have any concerns. We ask that you kindly do the same.

Camp out in the hinterland of the stunning Sapphire Coast. Situated about 30 km inland from Eden, in the magical Towamba Valley, Rock Lily Springs has a lot to offer—seclusion, sweeping views, tracks through the bush, encounters with the (not-so-wild) wildlife, and golden moments.
Maybe it's the last light of the sun colouring the sky, the moon rising big and bold over the fire pit, or the hush of the bush at first light before the birds begin their chorus...

What to expect:
Suitable for tents and RVs. There are two main sites offering views that could easily accommodate more than one tent or vehicle.
Currently, there are no toilets or showers—you will need to bring a camp toilet, etc.
You will also need to take all waste and rubbish with you.
We can:
• provide rainwater from our tanks and water from our spring, which is suitable for showering and washing up
• offer an evening round the fire pit, if the conditions are suitable
• make a gas barbecue available, if you let us know
• provide a picnic table and chairs for up to four people
• a grazing basket for your arrival by prior arrangement.

Wow, this is exactly as described plus more! We had the most relaxing private peaceful stay over 3 nights by the river. We watched the fish constantly jumping, even a stingray cruise by. The birdlife was abundant, with a kingfisher visiting! We had an open fire with wood that was almost too good to burn! Our border collie had a ball too. Brook Glen and Cash were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They look after their land exquisitely. The description is exactly as stated being unpowered, and the directions are easy to follow and very clearly communicated by Brook. It has to be the most peaceful river frontage camp we’ve ever experienced and we are so thankful that this young family are kindly sharing the opportunity. The price is incredible value considering all these factors! We would love to return and will tell all our camping friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Peppers Farmstay. The sites were really well set out, easy access to a portable loo and a water tap. This was all we needed for a very comfortable stay with our dog! We had a beautiful view, quiet and peaceful evenings and we were surrounded by wildlife.
The cherry on top was Ben’s offer to brush and feed the ponies and goats. Thank you Ben for checking in on us throughout our stay and making us feel so welcome!

This site is great - the limit on campers means that you feel like you’re there alone even if you’re not. It’s quiet and peaceful and close enough to Bermagui for supplies. Dan and Lou were great and we would definitely come back again.

Great spot near Merimbula and Pambula. Central to sight seeing. Lovely open, green paddock with river access. There's a veggie & herb garden that we could use. They have composting toilets, a dump point, rubbish bins and a compost heap to contribute to. Town water is available for hook up at no extra cost. We originally booked for 2 nights but extended it to 3.

We had such a relaxing, wholesome weekend at Glennbrooke River Camp. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves, and enjoyed sitting by the fire, listening to the birds sing and the fish splash in the river. We even had the cows come down to the paddock near our site to have a graze, our dog was so interested in them. Brooke and her family are so lovely and hospitable and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’ll be back 😊

The best great views camping near Merimbula guide
When to go
The best time to hit the beaches of the Merimbula region is between the warmer months of October and April, though crisp winter days are also ideal for bushwalks and cosying up beside a campfire in the evenings. Visit in March to gorge on local produce at the Merimbula Eat Festival, or in late October or early November to catch the Eden Whale Festival in Eden.
Know before you go
- Merimbula is just under a six hours’ drive south of Sydney, and about three hours southeast of Canberra, with bus services available. Merimbula also has a small airport with flights from Sydney.
- Oysters are available year-round on the NSW south coast. Sydney Rock oysters are usually at their peak during the warmer months, Pacific oysters can be enjoyed throughout the year, and Angasi oysters are best in winter.
- Checking up-to-date rules before starting a campfire is particularly important on the NSW south coast.
