Palm Cove follows the natural curves of the Murrumbidgee River for 1.6km and is located 20km North West of Wagga Wagga on the Old Narrandera Road. Set up for the aquatic enthusiasts, Plam Cove has a concrete ramp and has fantastic access for almost all of the 1.6km of river frontage. So you can bring a boat or pop a line in from the river bank with ease. BYO kayaks or you are welcome to use the 2 that are here. You can take a stroll along the river bank if you like bush walking or just relax around the Gazebo area where the manicured park-like grounds lead to a little sandy beach. With beautiful views up and down the river, this is one of the Riverina's best river properties which we would love to share with Hip Campers.

10/10! Perfect location. Best of both worlds being so close to Wagga Wagga! Ideal spot for kids, no worries about them riding or running around. Nadine and Troy are unreal and generous, even took us for a drive and look around on there boat 👍

I don't think we could have found a better spot to spend 2 nights. The river gums are huge and the lawns under them are beautifully maintained. CSU and Estella shops are a short drive.

We absolutely loved camping at this beautiful spot .The sound of the running water of the river , the wildlife and the scenery made this the perfect weekend getaway. Being the only campers it was so peaceful. Easy to find as well . We will definitely be back to swim in the river when it warms up a bit . Thank you Thomas for letting us stay . A most gorgeous place. The river is beautiful, one of our group saw a Platypus. We had a kangaroo drop by to inspect the camp & the long grass rippled with the breeze. There were wildflowers all around. Birdlife is abundant, we had a colony of cockatoos, many ducks, and daily visits by an eagle, way above us. As it used to be a quarry there are many smooth rocks around, so beware if you are staking your tent, there may be an issue here & there as you drive them into the ground! This place was peaceful, there was plenty of room, but it is only a few kilometres from two towns. There is plenty to do & see in the area.

The site is extremely beautiful and very spacious, it also has very rocky and uneven ground making it a little difficult choosing a tent space or camper space. The water is quite shallow on the camp side so it wasn’t suitable for fishing but awesome if you wanted to paddle around.

It was our first time doing an off grid stay in our caravan and it was the perfect spot to do so! We were lucky enough to have a massive space to ourselves, which was well taken care of. Our two kids had a blast as well. Would definitely come back again!!

Camping at palm cove on the murrumbidgee was beautiful. We cooked camp ovens on the fire and paddled kayaks and paddleboards on the river. We watched the sunset and enjoyed the spring days sun watching birds during the day and possums at night. Nandine and her husband were lovely and checked we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Would definitely stay again. We were 2 families with kids aged 4-10. Note *This spot wouldn't be ideal if your kids can't swim or don't have any river sense as keeping them away from the river would be very hard.

This is the second time we have been to this spot and set up in slightly different spots. Both were a great time. There are a few spots along the river to set up so you have a nice backdrop for your sleep. The host was a great help this trip. This one is staying on my list and should be on yours
