Stunning location! Amazing hosts! Camp sites are right next to a beautiful river, perfect for fishing. The hosts were amazing and you can even buy some honey from their farm. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed at the Lookout site during the NSW rain event. Would have loved to have had some decent weather, as the site is well located beside the creek and private. The track in was fine, even after constant rain for days. We did however have 4x4 with low range and aired the tyres down on the car and our 14ft van.

I loved how much space Michele has at The Fishing Shed! So much room for the doggos to play. Having the shed was great to. Even though we weren't able to access the inside of the shed, the veranda and extra tables made food prep, storage and space very easy.

Beautiful spot on the wandandian River, ive been here a few times now and it's still a great getaway not too far from home, brooksy is a great bloke and good for a chat. All the spots I've stayed at feel like your own private retreat. Will 100% be back again

Great place for a camp with the family. We were on the water edge, can fish or launch a kayak easily. Several loops on the property for riding a MTB. One large loop is about 8km on fire trails to other camp sites. Really do recommend a 4wd if you are towing a van. Other than that any high clearance vehicle should make it. Plenty of fire wood comes with one order and there is a lot of privacy. We could not see the other camp sites from our camp but could see their fire at night through the trees.

What a great spot! Each site is large and unique in its own way. Of the sites we were able to look at, we liked site 4 as it had the most open river view (note we couldnât see fishing shed as it was occupied). For small groups, water dragon was beautiful, but with a little less waterview. There is a lot of shade on each site, meaning we werenât able to rely on our solar so had to run the generator a few times. Fortunately the sites are so far apart we didnât disturb anyone else.
Wandandian Creek does its best to impersonate a river. We even enjoyed the odd ski boat, fishing boat and jet ski that came down for a gander. The kangaroos, wombats and bird life were awesome too.
Adding the firewood option was well worth it, and the honey was delicious. Michele could not have done anymore for us and was an excellent host.
Note: the price quoted is per site and we could have easily fit 5 vans on our site (site 4) if you are going with family or friends.

Michele's hip camp is on prime realestate. The clean, clear & large river has an abundance of fish in it and you can spend days out there in the peace but within a short distance to town. The fire pit set up with some left over wood made for a great welcome and the green grass with the ability to let our dogs off leash with no one else around was a winner. We will be back for sure!

What a beautiful spot!!! This is our third time back and will not be our last. Love love love Babbling Brook. Sites are clean and you have such a large area to yourself. Sites are private and right by the river.

Great spot not to far from the highway but the camp sites are sited so you canât see the other campers and there is plenty of space for everyone. Easy enough access to the creek, although with the reserve across the water there can be a fair amount of activity on the water at times.

They provide so much more than listed! 2 of us stayed in the van and 2 of us camped in our rooftop tent just nearby. Cute campervan, my sister reported that the bed was comfy. There's a large shade cloth area with tables and chairs, a bbq, a firepit and an outdoor sink. Cold shower setup outside too. Thanks David!

Micheleâs Hipcamp was brilliant. Whilst the weather over Easter was magnificent, Michele and Bill also went above and beyond. From arrival to departure, the site was perfect camping - fire pit, large open space, wood chipped and private with the closest camper at least 200m away. Even car trouble wasnât enough to dampen the weekend with Bill helping out with battery know how and a replacement battery! Canât recommend this Hipcamp enough from our family of four with teenage boys. Access to water was straight forward and offered easy paddling. Thank you Michele and Bill, weâll certainly be back.
