Situated just off Jamberoo Mountain Road, we are ideally located between Bowral and Kiama.
This campsite is a flat grassy area with rural views to the west and north west. Enjoy the lush green grass under the shade of old gnarly trees. Dogs on leashes are very welcome.
Campers will have access to toilet during their stay, just a short walk from the camping area.
Various birds, wombats and wallabies are common around our farm and we're located very close to Carrington Falls (Budderoo National Park), the Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk
and Barren Grounds Nature Reserve where you can go for a lovely bushwalk or have a swim.
This campsite is best suited to caravans or RVs as we are situated near a
semi-busy tourist road between Robertson and Jamberoo (perfect if you need a safe place to stay on your adventure). Our front paddock has easy access off Gordon’s track.

Two campsites share 20 Acres of cottonwood trees on the Wingecarribee river. They are 250m apart and both on the riverfront giving you the seclusion you need while allowing you access to all that the Highlands have to offer. Bring your fishing rod and yabbie net, sit at the large picnic table, rent a kayak and go for a paddle, come say hello to the miniature Hereford cattle and enjoy the half drum fire pit while watching the cows grazing across the river. The Southern Highlands is ideal if you’re wanting to escape Sydney (100km) or Canberra (160km) without lengthy travel. Discover all that the area has to offer including a host of idyllic country towns, fascinating shops and regular country events. With it’s abundant wineries, award-winning restaurants, culinary delights, and natural splendor, it’s the place to unplug, find yourself and indulge in some of life’s finest pleasures.
If the birds and the bees are your thing then you are also in for a rare treat. We have eastern greys, rabbits, the odd fox and a host of birdlife (eyes open for the resident wedgetail pair, pelicans, black swans etc.), but whatever you seek from your break, we look forward to hosting you.

The property has access to the Wingecarribee River to the south, a natural pool and large dam in the camping area.

Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes.
I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups.
Just a short drive from Sydney but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. Please note that the canyon photos are from a spot that is very difficult to get to.
I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost.
The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are snakes and ticks.

It's a lovely spot. Site 1 is separate from the rest and is on a little hill under the trees, surface isn't grassy. We thought there wasn't too much level ground due to this, but in the end it wasn't a problem. A horse was wondering around at night. We came back for another night due to the convenient location not far from Sydney.

Great stay at Wywurri2 property. Must be self contained. As others have said Site 1 is seperate to all other sites so very private. But the sites are huge so good distance between campers. We had site 8 which was in the middle, but noone close to us. A bit slopey & grass overgrown so an outdoor matt would be good. Quiet & peaceful. Can have camp fires. Will definitely return.

My second visit here and it was lovely as always.
Site 1 is my favourite, as it’s set away from the other campsites and totally private. It also has a table and chair set up, so it saves having to set up my own furniture. There’s also plenty of shade on site 1 and is a nice spot to watch the horses running about.

Lovely campsite where you feel isolated from other campers. The second sign to find the entry is a bit hard to see, so look out carefully after turning.
Would stay here again. Went for a great walk with the dog in Strickland state forest not far away.

The property is a few kms from the highway and we didn’t hear any traffic at all!
We stayed at site 1 next to one of the dams. Would recommend bringing a camp mat to place down on the sand.
We had plenty of shade under the trees and enjoyed watching the horses in neighbouring properties and the ducks on our private dam.
Theres some fallen trees around to collect some wood too.
Theres owner came around and introduced herself and let us pat the horses which was a highlight for us. Will be back again!

This location is even better than advertised. The views, cows, bird life and sunset over the river were just delightful. Our site was very well presented and the directions were great. Valance popped in to introduce himself and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this location.

Had an awesome time camping in a large group at Bonnie Doon. The dam was great for non stop entertainment for young and old. Matthew was a very flexible and approachable host. Was a great base camp for climbing and canyoning over the weekend. Would highly recommend.
