Oakey Farm

Oakey Farm is situated 15km from Tamworth's CBD, on a 180-acre farm. Take in the beautiful lights of Tamworth and views of the Peel Valley. 

The camping space is shaded and grassed, with a powered modern bathroom facility with a flushing toilet and shower. 

Children under 12 are free. Please still add them to the booking so we are aware of the numbers, you will not be charged. 

We currently only accept three bookings at one time, so you'll have plenty of space and tranquility.

We're located out beyond the Black Stump.

Our farm is set on a 100 acre property with 40% cleared and 60% bush.You can choose to camp in the bush or cleared area. There are trees you can camp under for shade during the warmer months. 

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water supply.

Campfires are permitted.

The town of Coonabarabran is a 40 min drive from the campsite, and just beyond the township is the Warrumbungle National Park where you can go star gazing. Mudgee is a 1.5 hr drive away.

Allandale

We are located east of Coonabarabran with approximately 1600+ acres of hilly bush, mostly untouched for the past 50 years. Old logging trails throughout leading to peaks for views east and west as far as the eye can see. 

Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star.

Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere. 

Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! Discover Spa Corner, and if you are lucky enough to come across me, ask me how it came to be there. Jump in, bust out the bubbles, and post a pic to Instagram. ​

​You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and drinking water. There is access to a shower and rubbish facilities.

This is big sky country. The skies are crystal clear and sun rises and sunsets are breath taking. So far my favourite spot on earth is out here. Come and experience it with us, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do.

​4WDs are recommended to access the property, and there is limited access for motorhomes and 2WD (weight restrictions on motorhomes apply). If you're unsure about your camping vehicle please message before booking.

Approx 30 kms out of Tamworth, Country Music Capital, on 1500 acres working cattle/horse property.

Numerous dams, abundant wildlife. Beautiful King Parrot breeding area close by. Informal hiking, bird watching, uninterrupted views over valley. 70kms to Gunnedah, Koala Capital of Australia. 

Guest must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take waste with them on departure.

Myall Springs Lake

Myall Springs is an organic beef and lamb farm 30km north of Gunnedah in NSW. We have a beautiful lake filled by natural spring water from two creeks that we would like to share with others. The lake covers 150 acres when full and is home to a huge variety of wildlife and fish

Paddle boarding, wind surfing, kite surfing, water activities and swimming are welcome. Enjoy the wildlife and bird watching.
