Weekend Trip to Pleasant View

Thanks Graham for being a fabulous host. Personally greeted us & directed us onto a beautiful clear flat grassy spot with our 18’8 caravan. Fantastic country view. Wild life in abundance. Had a warm cozy campfire. Easy access into property. Highly recommend a stay if you are in the Mudgee area. Also, thank you Graham for the fresh eggs - they tasted so good!!

We store our van in Dubbo and this hip camp has been the perfect spot to spend our last night each trip. It’s so peaceful and scenic near the river, easy to get into, convenient to Dubbo. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back.

Highly recommend!! Fantastic spot, being the last site there, there was no interruptions of cars or people walking past. Fire pit was perfect and kept us warm as the night got chilly Directions were also very clear in the message given a few days before our stay.

We had a great stay, the amenities were good and the campsites reasonably far apart. One of the nights Mark made a big bonfire which the kids loved.

We had an amazing time here! Plenty of space between camps with dogs and fires allowed. Just a short drive to the centre of Mudgee but there is lots to enjoy on the campground area itself. We will definitely be back 😁

Very quite and peaceful. Large flat area for camping and the shower and toilet were modern and clean. We meet Kim and the girls and Kim let us use the cabins facilities. The fire pit was tops.

Site number four is excellent overlooking the river it is far enough away from town to be far enough away but not too far there are other sites that you don't even see there is Bushland between the sites I will definitely be back there

We had a great time here for the 4 days, the friendly hosts greeted us which was a nice touch. Clean amenities placed all over the multiple camping areas, and we were placed in a nice and quiet spot on the creek. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay on Graham’s property just 5 mins outside of Mudgee and close to wineries. Graham was a five star host - meeting us in town to show us the way out and supplying us with delicious farm fresh eggs and a book of Mudgee. He had loads of info about the region and allowed us to choose a camp spot and supplied us with firewood. We loved being so close to town but still on a farm to enjoy the outdoors! We wish we could have stayed longer!

1 night at Lisadan Cottage and Homestead

We are a family of 4, myself, my husband and our two sons, aged 10 and 12. This farm was beautiful. The hosts waited for us to arrive to feed their little lambs, and we were introduced to all the farm animals (at our request) before we got to our site. The two friendly donkeys kept their distance but stayed within eye sight of our van. We enjoyed a fire in the pit provided, there was plenty of wood around to collect and use. The grass was cut short within the camping area and the path. There was a drop toilet and little camp kitchen also. It was very lovely, quiet and peaceful! You couldn’t really see the house from the camp ground - giving it a very tranquil feel. We will definitely be back - but hope to stay longer next time!

The sites are self-service with no amenities currently available, so best suited to those happy to be self-sufficient and with a 'leave no trace' approach. All sites offer bushwalking options (maps can be provided via email), an abundance of native flora and fauna including wild birds, the occasional echidna and wombats. You'll also find sheep and cattle meandering around the paddocks, along with our horses and free ranging peacock. We also have a super friendly kelpie and dachshund pup making the farm feel complete. Dogs are welcome & we have stables or individual paddocks available if you'd like to bring your equine friends (no riding on the property due to insurance). Only 15 minutes to the centre of town & is a great base for your visit to Dubbo. Located on the Mudgee side of Dubbo, it's an easy place to pull up on your travels and we look forward to your visit. This Homestead is set on 22 acres, just a short drive from the home of the Black Stump at Weetaliba, NSW. Camping under the stars is a must here as you are able to star-gaze at Australia's first Dark Sky Park. The homestead has 3 separate paddocks each with their own dam where you can have total privacy during your camp. Although you may have a visit from the resident sheep who graze the pastures (don't worry - they are friendly). A perfect place for bird watching an array of native birds including rosellas, cockatoos, and currawongs and you will hear the kookaburras every morning and evening. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you. Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks. You will have access to composting toilets or feel free to BYO facilities. Campfires are welcome in the pits provided, permitting there are no restrictions at the time of your visit. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are supervised and kept indoors at night. Being within 20 minutes to the local town of Coolah, it's a perfect stop over for an overnight stay or for a long weekend. You can easily duck into town to stock up on supplies or visit a good old country pub for a meal. We look forward to meeting you.

We are located east of Coonabarabran with approximately 1600+ acres of hilly bush, mostly untouched for the past 50 years. Old logging trails throughout leading to peaks for views east and west as far as the eye can see. Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star. Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere. Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! Discover Spa Corner, and if you are lucky enough to come across me, ask me how it came to be there. Jump in, bust out the bubbles, and post a pic to Instagram. You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and drinking water. There is access to a shower and rubbish facilities. This is big sky country. The skies are crystal clear and sun rises and sunsets are breath taking. So far my favourite spot on earth is out here. Come and experience it with us, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do. 4WDs are recommended to access the property, and there is limited access for motorhomes and 2WD (weight restrictions on motorhomes apply). Athenry, Bush Camp Retreat

Then property is set 600 metres back from a quiet rural road, accessed via a gravel driveway. It is nestled at the foot of Mount Knowles, and includes over 300 acres of bushland in addition to approx 30 acres of formal gardens and mown paddocks, one of which has a pretty dam. All areas have expansive rural views. We offer a basic bush site for self-contained campers and a fully-contained caravan. At Bushman's Camp we welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. Campsites are accessible for 2WDs and we welcoming camping vehicles. You may need to level your vehicle for a comfortable night’s sleep. There are a few options for camping. The land is undulating with flat spots, with open grassy areas peppered with gum trees. Other parts are more heavily wooded with gums and natives. Our caravan comes complete with water, electricity, toilet, 2 double beds, dining area and kitchen. The caravan can sleep 4 guests. Next to the caravan there is room for a further tent, van, trailer or motorhome if desired, for a $35 flat fee. Please add extra guests when booking. Outside the caravan, there is a beautiful sandstone ringed fire pit, BBQ, covered picnic tables, chairs, lighting and some firewood available. You will need to bring your own bed linen and towels. Campfires are permitted at all our listings when not in fireban season so bring your marshmallows! There are lovely views of the valleys and mountains beyond, and you’ll really enjoy the sunsets. No pets please.
