Hi campers, Nestled among the hills on Old Man Gunyah Creek, this 1400 acre property is owned &and run by John & Jen. It's a sheep farm running 1600 sheep producing fine wool and fat lambs. Plenty of room to move, walk the hills, catch a fish, or just sit by the camp fire & watch the stars. Bring your motor home, caravan, camper, tent or swag, the choice is yours. The shearing shed has a fully equipped kitchen & plenty of fresh rain water. You are welcome to roll out your swag in the shearing shed if you prefer. Controlled dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. There is no mobile service or Wi-Fi. We are 50 kms from a corner store/service station, so don't leave yourselves short. There are toilets scattered around the property, but no shower available.

220 acres of Australian bush land and old farming land being regenerated. Lots of hiking available with grand views from the top of the mountain of Wyangala dam. There is no mobile phone reception so you can be completely off grid and just enjoy the bird filled valley. Other properties still have farm activities in the valley so friendly neighbours happy to help. Balga Rise is being regenerated for eco tourism down the track. The magic is over the back. You can access Wyangala Dam on foot - but not for launching fishing boats as the crown land is leased and the gate locked to prevent unauthorised camping.

Borenore field days camping ground was lovely. The powered site was fabulous for camping. Amenties were great with hot showers and plenty of toilets. We took our large dogs and they loved the surroundings. I would reckon this place for a weekend or longer stay. Also good price for what is offered.

Weekend Trip to REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN CAMPS

Despite our nerves that our Subaru forester with a heavy box trailer wouldn’t get up the mountain, we booked Campers Den in the hope that all would be fine, and thanks to some dry tracks we cruised up the mountain with ease. We were in awe the moment we got to the top, the views at Revelstone mountain were perfection, the solitude and serenity we felt calmed our city souls to the core, This spot is special, it’s private, thoughtfully designed for all kinds of camp set ups. We got to explore a few of the sites around the property and each had its own unique charm. Campers Den, the edge of a mountain, overlooking the sunsets each night was incredible. We had what we are guessing was an eagle or two flying overhead each day. There is a beautiful tree for some shade. Though not protected from wind like others have mentioned, our set up withstood some strong gusty nights, just make sure you peg everything down and we took our gazebo roof off too. Our 7 and 4 year olds enjoyed running around, making noise without being told to be quiet, and the isolation meant we were all comfortable to fully unwind without feeling like we had to be respectfully quiet so as not to disturb others. The dam was so close that we got to enjoy some swimming and splashing in the Christmas holiday crowds, but returning to camp was always the highlight. Thanks to Graeme, a very kind and hospitable host, for an amazing experience, we will be back!

We loved the views! Walking the dogs amongst the rocks, looking out over the hills and valleys. Sitting outside the van in the evening as the sun set. A great spot, well worth visiting. We will go to Revelstone Mountain again

We loved it here. If you are not into Caravan Parks like us , and want to feel like you have a location to yourself, this is the place for you. Hospitable hosts who take the time to have a chat, porta loos on site as well. Just peace and quiet with lovely scenery to match. We’ll be returning. Thanks for having us at your property 👌🏼

Very quiet campsite, with toilet and shower facilities. We struggled to find a campsite in the Orange area with facilities that were not a caravan park or Showground. Field Days ticked our boxes, we had the place to our selves, it is close to the wineries and walking in Mt Canobolas. We Will be back.

We spent the weekend at Wilson’s Flat campsite and it was perfect! Directions to the property were very easy to follow. We definitely came at the right time, plenty of water in the creek to dip your toes in or make a splash in the deep parts, green grass for as far as you could see. Campsite nestled along the creek surrounded by rolling hills, the views were absolutely stunning. What stood out was how well maintained everything was. The toilet was well looked after and stocked with everything you needed, bins were provided, great campfire, a map to the property if you wanted to explore or hike. Generous spacing between campsites you were in your own little oasis! From the very beginning everything was easy, well thought out and cannot fault anything. Thankyou Jen and John for a wonderful stay, we will be back again!!
