Very pretty spot and nice tent. Enjoyed the bush walks, feeding the goats and alpacas and just relaxing near the river. We had a thunderstorm for about an hour but the tent was unfazed and we stayed dry so all good!

Well maintained site, peaceful and quiet. A few horses nearby, and orchard right behind (we weren’t in season for fruit picking though). Portaloo and tap to wash up close by. Flushable toilet and showers a few minutes walk away.
Mini easy hike to a waterfall nearby - watch out for leeches though!
Our highlight was toasting marshmallow under the stars and spotting Jupiter with the kids ✨

What an amazing spot! Our kids (8 and 4 yo) said this was their favorite camping trip to date - and we’ve done a lot! Highlights from them were: feeding the animals each day and the beautiful swimming holes we found on our bushwalks. Highlights from the adults: not having to pack a mountain of camping gear, rocking up to a set up campsite and access to a bathroom/kitchenette. Melissa was so hopeful and took extra time and care showing the boys how to feed the animals each day. We were all sad to leave but we promised the kids we’ll be back! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing stay!

What a great place to relax and unwind and so close to Gosford. Sites were generous, a little slope but nothing to worry about. A stroll through forest with the 7m waterfall was stunning. The facilities were in the process of getting a major upgrade but we found the existing ones still worked fine. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

My partner and I had a great time camping in the pine tree area, such a lovely property with the citrus trees and animals and dog friendly 😊 The warm shower and flushing toilets are great and drop toilet closer was convenient. The waterfall was the best past about our trip, it was such a beautiful walk so close by and amazing way to spend the day. Was a bit rainy the weekend we went so that was a bit challenging with a tent but we still had a great time and host was lovely.

We had such a beautiful camping experience at this ranch. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm, open, and incredibly refreshing. The orchard views, fresh air, and wide green spaces created the perfect environment to unwind and reconnect with nature.
The grounds were well maintained, spacious, and ideal for both relaxation and family time. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying quiet evenings under the sky made it feel like a true escape from the busyness of everyday life. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and just be present.
It felt safe, peaceful, and thoughtfully cared for. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat, a family camping trip, or simply time to reset, this ranch offers the perfect setting.
Last but not the least,the kids had the best tym,they enjoyed the tractor ride,feeding the animal and walk to the water fall. It was wonderful.
We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next visit.

This is such a beautiful and precious hip camp. The people that run the farm are so lovely and very accomodating. They do tours on weekends and take you to their animals. /teach you about the farm and its history.
There is a really lovely waterfall and walk and the orchards are beautiful to walk around with tasteful oranges!
The funds raised from the hip camp goes to the Rotary charity in many countries it is a very cool concept.
We would highly recommend checking this out!

Lovely place. Very scenic and peaceful. Would benefit from toilet upgrade. We almost cooked inside the tin shed with the warm weather. No escape from warm weather with not being allowed in the water and not much shade. Caretaker was lovely. Kids loved the animals being around to say hello to. Would go back but maybe not in summer.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at The Rosewood. We travelled with two children aged 7 and 4, and it was absolutely perfect for a family getaway.
The bell tent was very comfortable, with a double/queen bed for us and two single mattresses on the floor for the kids. There was a dining table inside the tent and a Weber BBQ outside, which we used for both breakfast and dinner — such a great setup.
The private shower, toilet, fridge and kettle were located in the main house out the back, around a short walk from the tent (approximately 50 metres). It was private and well set up.
One of our favourite experiences was the fireplace by the river, where we enjoyed making s’mores and marshmallows with the kids (we brought our own lighters and fire starters). The campsite is right beside the creek and offered plenty of opportunities for exploring. The terrain isn’t flat, so just something to be mindful of, but we did find a lovely section with running water very close to the camp that was perfect for the kids to play in.
The absolute highlight of our stay was meeting the animals — the goats Bon Bon, Cutlet and Cookie, and the alpacas Humphrey and Marshall. We were lucky enough to help with feeding time, and the kids still talk about it as the best part of the trip.
The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families.

My wife, little kiddies (5y/o,3y/o) and I recently stayed at what can only be described as a peaceful, private retreat with lots of fun to be had. From feeding the delightful goats, Cookie, Cutlet and Bon Bon, and alpacas, Marshall and Humphrey, which if your kids are anything like mine, animal crazy! Then they will love the closeness from the spacious tent, a short walk or toddle to the fence to greet them each morning. Hosts were warm and welcoming, also took time for a chat while feeding the animals which again was a highlight for the kids. After feeding time a short walk down to the river for a cool dip was refreshing way to start the day. It felt like the river was right there in the backyard. Charming fire pit with logs for sitting. Hosts set out firewood for our convenience. Amenities were considered too, very much felt like a great balance of glamping while still being out below the stars at night. As soon as we left my daughter was asking, rather telling me we need to drive back to make the next feeding time.

We really liked Glenworth, very tucked away and serene. Plenty of space and in a lovely setting by the creek with fields of horses around. The facilities are decent for the price although I can see if there’s more people you might be waiting a bit for the shower. Would recommend!

The way Melissa and her family have allowed people to experience the beauty of where they live is very unique. The location is stunning; right on the Bargo River with amazing birds, dragonflies, lizards and their own beautiful alpaccas and goats. Seeing/being part of the animals daily feeding routine was so good to watch or be part of. The tent set up is perfect with chairs, a fire pit, cooking utensils, a weber bbq and many other items to make your stay very easy! Beds were super comfy. The family house is nearby and they allow use of the downstairs bathroom/laundry/fridge facilities... which is amazing! Definitely a place to be respected. Theres a short walk from car parking area to site, but once youre set up, this place is bliss. The township of Tahmoor is so close and you would never know it 💚💙
