Forest glamping near Bulli

Wayne was very nice and personally led us into the retreat. There were not that many campers and the portaloo was very nice and clean! Happy to stay again and the area was really nice and secluded where we stayed!

Lovely 1 night stay with my 5 and 8 year old. Beautiful scenery, sage for the kids to roam, Wayne was a legend, super friendly, super responsive. Will absolutely come again. And yes, toilets were 11/10.

We had a great time staying at Wayne's in our campervan. The toilets were spotless and the animals all around made it very special. Wayne was brilliant at giving us information on the camels - we learned lots! Definitely recommend to anyone to stay here. Thanks Wayne!

3 nights at La Estancia Hideaway at Jervis Bay

Great camp site. Isolated, secure and private. Wayne was accommodating and friendly. Best decorated, equipped and clean portaloo ever.

We had a fabulous magical 3 night stay at Magali's beautiful camp-site. The idea of a private outdoor bath under the stars got us there but we were very pleasantly surprised with all the other wonderful extras. The bathroom facilities would rival any B&B or motel. So good to have a hot shower after a day at the beach. The cavinous rustic common area kitchen has a full size fridge freezer, a coffee machine with coffee supplied, microwave, kettle with tea supplied, toaster, sandwich press and a pantry filled with crockery, utensils etc. In fact you could arrive with just a tent & food and everything else you would ever need is there. Lots of cast iron for cooking over there big fire pit. The private camping area is large, lush and surrounded by beautiful bush and birdlife. Local possums also visit the Communal shed. It was great as well to have a place where our dogs were welcomed and they had so much fun playing with Magali's Bazil. We will certainly be returning and would recommend it to any one looking for a quieter more private stay but still so close to all the wonderful places Jervis Bay has to offer. A truly special and healing space and Magali was so kind, helpful and generous. Thank you, Magali, so much for making our birthday celebration so special. 😊 x

The space was amazing. We asked to move to a different space (as I made a mistake when booking when catering for our toddler) & Ian was more than accommodating. Beautiful space, perfect to have a private fire and enjoy the serenity of nature. The extras like an axe and generator made life so much easier. Would 10/10 recommend Ian as a host and his space.

A fabulous stay on the farm. Easy to find, secure, with very good access for all types of vehicles to the well fenced off 30 acres (campers limited to 30 acre camp area). Flat areas suitable for vans, caravans, car camping, tenting with the best smelling cleanest portaloos I have seen. Wayne's hospitality goes above and beyond making all campers feel welcome and settled - he's quite the character. Self sufficiency is needed to truly enjoy the space as described, camp fires allowed. All amenities, activities, walks are close by in Moss Vale and Almeryston area. Farm noise and life evident all around with an array of animals from camels to donkeys, sheep, cows, birdlife. Come prepared for all weather conditions as no cover at site, no water access or showers. A perfect taste of at one with nature and star gazing at a safe camp in the beautiful surrounds of the southern highlands. Mittagong about 20+ km away and great access to the hume highway nearby. Highly recommended even though a little pricey. 🚜👍😊👌🚜

We loved staying at Upper Terrace at Mellows Ridge. Ian has been really nice and helpful sharing recommendations to do in the area. We definitely recommend doing the 40 min hike to the top of the rocky ridge. We had no rain to driving uphill was easy but it can be challenging if visiting with rainy weather.

Beautiful spot. Peaceful and relaxing. Close to Nattai National Park where we did some excellent bush walking. Wayne was a very welcoming host. We'll be back!

Great camping spot and facilities. Kids loved playing with Lana. Easy access with 2WD. Highly recommend to others. We will definitely come back for another visit.

This place is great! We dont normally do reviews but felt had to in this instance as Wayne was such a lovely host and made us feel so welcome. He also provided us with a leaflet on local attractions which was nice touch. The campsite is big enough for everyone to spread out, and the portaloos are the best we’ve ever used. Bonus that it’s so close to Mittagong town centre for supplies etc. Can’t fault this place. Will be back!
