Spacious, tidy, well kept grounds, friendly. Easily to find location. Fires and dogs allowed. 2nd time we've been and will book again in the future.

Great location, facilities, plenty of space between sites, always a wonderful stay and will keep coming back. Lisa is a wonderful host! This place is a hidden gem.

This location is very peaceful with plenty of room. Lisa is very friendly and super helpful. It’s a short drive to the beaches and Mogo.

Great spot and would return.
Location is very close to mogo.
Even though it was a busy long weekend the property is set up that everything is very spread out and we had our own porta loo.
Overall, everything was very clean and well equipped for off grid camping which is close to town.

Such a beautiful place to stay, well kept, plenty of toilets to pick from and all very clean also perfect if you have a dog, plenty of space to roam around. Lisa was a lovely host and her husband helped jumpstart my car one morning! Life savers!

Fabulous site - peaceful, secluded and spacious! The portaloos were plentiful and always clean. A fire pit and free river kayaks were the icing on the cake.

Such a beautiful spot. Wide open with heaps of space. Nice and close to the river and really convenient for Mogo trails. We'll definitely be back!

I had a great three night camp at Tomakin River Camping. Lisa is a very helpful, friendly host. There is much space; which suited me as I prefer a quiet camp. The property is perfect for camping, with the creek, Mogo township nearby, the mountain bike trail network around Mogo, the beaches not too far away, and the rural setting.

Highly recommend!! We have stayed here many times. Huge clean sites, shady spots for relaxing and sunny spots for solar, river for swimming and fishing. Peace and quiet in abundance. Lisa is friendly and great to deal with.

Lisa was a great host. Very clear instructions for finding the camp. We stayed during the Easter Long Weekend and while it was full there was plenty of space. We had a great time and still felt like we had plenty of privacy. Toilets are very well maintained. The grounds were also well kept, everywhere was mowed and tidy. The river is also a lovely addition to a beautiful spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Tomakin Campground. The sites were large, shady and had a beautiful outlook. The toilets provided were clean. The river had kayaks down on the banks for public use and the kids loved the swimming hole. Our group were there after the Easter weekend so there weren’t many people, and those that were there were camped quite a distance away. The grounds were well kept. Campfire pits were provided. We loved our stay. Will definitely be back.

Excellent site with lots of space and privacy, even with quite large groups. Well maintained, portaloos always in good condition and plenty of firewood! Enjoyed a swim and a kayak in the river. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful spot amongst gum trees and near the creek. The place is well maintained, lots of well-kept grass for campers and Lisa does a good job keeping sites spaced out so we are not on top of other campers, which is nice. Enjoyed swimming in the creek and using the kayaks. Really peaceful and quiet. We had a great time. Thank you!

We had a really enjoyable time over the Easter long weekend on Lisa's property. The paddock is beautiful with green grass and tall trees and gently rolling between the sites, which are huge. Plenty of space to pitch our tent and camp kitchen, run around with the dogs, play freesbie and ball games without annoying anyone. With only 17 sites, it means so much space for everyone, and it was great!!! The little creek at the bottom of the property is lovely for a paddle, and we enjoyed the sights of the cows grazing on the other side, and the birdlife along the water's edge. Lisa is a warm and welcoming host, and her property is well looked after, including the portaloos which are kept clean and tidy.
Definitely recommend this camp site!

Spacious, clear, well-spaced campsites. Nice grass and surrounded by tall trees and the river. Fire pits provided. Portaloos between sites were clean and functional. Lisa was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Lisa is an amazing host. I was camped there through a storm. Lisa came to check on me that night and then the next morning. Which was very reassuring.
I had a lovely campsite. Lovely trees green grass - plenty of room although no other campers there that night. I had lovely campfires in the provided pit. Plenty of portaloos.
There was one good spot for access to the river but not really tempted to swim. Canoes available on the banks if desired.

Very easy to get to! Drive my little campervan and found the dirt road to the property was well maintained and even. Absolutely love the camp spot. Felt like being in a well maintained nature reserve. Even had a little swim in the nearby creek with the dog. Goregous spot. Definitely favouriting this gem.

What an amazing place to camp. It was perfect for our large group. It’s close to town and the beach for day trips. The host, Lisa, was great to deal with and very helpful. A quiet, peaceful stay. We will be back. Thank you, Lisa.

The campsite was amazing, lots of space and very well maintained. We had the best time even though it rained. The toilets were very clean and a big plus when you have kids. The kayaking and fishing was great and the kids loved the very friendly cows! We will be back, thank you Lisa!!

Spacious natural grounds with plenty of shade and short grass. Toilets dotted around are old but clean. We took 3 dogs and were able to camp well out of sight of the the other camp. One of our dogs enjoyed wandering around free but the other 2 chase kangaroos so they had to be on leash or in crate while at the camp. Bengello Beach at Broulee is 24/7 off leash beach and was not overpopulated by dogs, or people.

The place was as described, was clean and tidy and had portaloos available. There was only one other camper on site and we made a campfire at night. For the price of $60 I would expect to be able to dispose of my rubbish and have a supply of water or an option of electricity. The camping area was not that attractive and river was quite shallow and muddy. Would not recommend.
