Our 90 pitch campsite is located in the protected Green Belt area to the west of London. With the River Thames on one side and Laleham Park on all others, the beautiful surroundings are hard to beat given the proximity to the capital.
The campsite is run voluntarily by its members, with day-to-day matters being handled by an elected committee and wardens.
We keep things relaxed at Laleham, but a few simple guidelines help everyone enjoy their stay:
Quiet Hours: 11pm-7am — please keep noise to a minimum.
Campfires: Raised fire pits/barbeques only — no fires directly on the grass.
Pets: Dogs welcome, must be kept on leads at all times.
Vehicles: After unloading, all cars must be kept in our on-site car park for the duration of your stay.
Speed Limit: Please maintain a maximum speed limit of 5 mph for the safety of all guests.
Entrance Times: Customer arrival times are from 2pm until 8pm at which the vehicle gates close and no more arrivals will be taken.

This small site is a wildlife haven adjacent to the Severn Way, a long-distance trail which traces the river downstream. Birdwatching prospects are excellent here, and there’s plenty of peace if you’d rather sit and relax by a firepit or check out the stunning views and sunsets. The site is part of a working family farm with lots of livestock.
From the farm, it’s a 45-minute walk to Frampton on Severn, which is home to the longest village green in England and the lively Frampton Country Fair (think funfair… and 400 stalls full of good stuff). Baldwin’s Brook Glamping is also half an hour’s walk away from the Cotswold Canal Trust Visitor Centre by The Gloucester and Sharpness Canal if you’d like to grab a spot on a boat trip or sip a coffee by the canal.
When you'd rather have a chilled beer, two pubs are within half a mile of the site (only 10 minutes’ walk away). Strike up a conversation with a local about the next Severn Bore, the huge tidal wave which races for 25 miles from Awre to Gloucester down the estuary just a handful of times per year.

Toilets were clean, showers looked good (didn't use)
Staff we're friendly. Looks like they got a cool little club/pub on site popped in for a second but looks comfortable with a TV, draft beer and a dart board.
Play park looked good, didn't explore as the field was waterlogged.
Had a camp fire, borrowed a fire pit and brought some wood off site.
Pleasant experience will be coming back.

LOVED this stay. If your little one has sensitive ears you may need ear plugs/defenders as the aircrafts are rather loud. But over all, I loved this trip. Maybe need to take your own headlamp/torch as bathroom lamps were temperamental. Staff were amazing, everything well equipped. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our time here. We were made very welcome and it was just perfect for us. Very quiet and peaceful at night. It was just us pitched up during our stay. Lovely flat grass surface for the campervan. Our dogs enjoyed themselves and loved watching Chicken TV! Resident dog Bear is an absolute hoot! So funny and a real character. We will definitely be back.

Plenty of space where you’re pretty much left to your own devices. Portaloo in close proximity which was immaculate. You can pick your own pitch either in the wood, the field or next to the lake. We absolutely loved it. A great place to sit round the fire pit, listen to music, sink a beer and reminisce the good times. I found it the perfect place to decompress and forget the outside world! Took paddle boards and a kayak for a day down at Paper Mill Lock and it was perfect. Well worth a visit. £5 for all day parking, tea room and ice cream stall. The place was buzzing!! Tim’s land was the perfect base camp. Bravo Tim!!

The only thing that could do with attention are the toilets. They are basic (which is ok, no-one is expecting luxury) but they could do with being checked by staff more regularly. The bins were always full and the locks on the doors were a nightmare.

With pets
Really great little tucked away spot. Was lovely that it was only us there as the site only caters for minimal pitch ups. Very peaceful and quiet.
There were chickens roaming free and a pony on site.
Silas (the host) was very friendly and allowed us to help ourselves to fruit from the trees and eggs from the coop.
Compost loo was clean and tidy.
Pleasant walk from the site along the canal.
We were also allowed to let our dog off lead on the site if we wished.

It was our first time camping with our new teardrop camper and we definitely chose the right place! David was so lovely and helped me to reverse it onto the pitch. Due to bad reviews I expected the facilities to be dirty but they were far from it! Very clean and plenty of toilet roll!
As for the location, it’s amazing for people who love walking, we had a few hours walk down the canal and I definitely recommend walking across the road to the Riverside cafe for some lunch. Other than that there’s not much to do unless you want to drive into Stafford Centre but perfect for a quiet chilled couple of nights!

A lovely clean campsite with plenty of activities to do locally. There is someone on site all of the time which is reassuring . We had a beautiful spot right overlooking the canal junction . We had a great 3 night stay at Great Haywood . Thank you so much
