About James M. Robb - Colorado River

James M. Robb was a rad dude. He dubbed this park “a string of pearls” and that’s exactly what you’re going to find here; five gems (sections of the park) all strung together by the Colorado River. Now who doesn’t wanna piece of that necklace?

Each section (Island Acres, Corn Lake, Colorado River Wildlife Area, Connected Lakes, and Fruita) has something special and majestic to offer from canoe paddling to sailing, hiking and biking and even offroading or whitewater rafting for those rarin' and ready for adventure! There’s duck hunting, fishing in all seasons and even interpretive summer programs for those who want to learn more about this ecological masterpiece. Top it all off with camping fit for kings and queens and you have quite an expensive jewel at your fingertips for nowhere near the cost. Pick one section to explore in depth or choose them all, you’re gonna shine here.
