You'll find the rest and relaxation you need on our beautiful 53 acre property, your away from home while you explore the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. A mixture of farmland, forest and wetlands, complete with a beautiful old barn (turned music venue and bar), you'll be free to wander the grounds, relax on one of our Adirondack chairs, or pop in for a beer when our bar is open. Often on the weekends, we have live music in the barn. Espresso drinks and breakfast Sammies await you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Because we often have live music on the weekends, we encourage you to check out our events calendar on our website. During our events, music can be heard across the property and is generally over by 10 or 10:30 PM. We offer dispersed tent camping in the shade of a mature alder grove, dry camping sites for small campers, trailers, and vans, as well as one site with electricity and water. Amenities include an outdoor kitchen, porta potties, hand washing stations, showers, and potable water.

Soon we will be getting our winter high tides, sometimes the high water almost kisses the deck. Can be exciting. Come stay in our cabin at the estuary on Turners Bay, where wildlife is abundant and easy to see. The Bamboo cabin is very private and has everything you need to just hang out. Saltgrass's location allows for many fun outdoor activities such as hiking at Anacortes Washington Park or Kukutali Preserve State Park crabbing, fishing, birding, bicycling and, the beach, my kids actually found a bottle with a message inside years ago. Alternatively, you could explore the many little shops in the towns of La Conner and Anacortes. There are multiple activities available, I would suggest calling ahead in order to book kayaking, rock climbing, whale watching, or a sailing charter. You could easily take a day trip to the San Juan Islands by taking a ferry ride out of Anacortes, walk on or book ahead if you are taking your car. Also, the Swinomish Casino and golf course are within two miles. While you're here you may meet our pup Turner, we also have two cats and several chickens. On the property are your hosts Jeri and Nancy, as well as our handyman Sean, Saltgrass boasts beautiful flowers, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and yes, the Bay. We try to live harmoniously with the land. We would love to share our space with you! . We thank you all for visiting our place and hope we meet your expectations. October 10, 2025, A new addition to the bamboo cabin; we built gates that allow you to secure the deck as an outside space for your dog. Our property has hosted many events, such as weddings, family reunions, company picnics, a music festival, and life celebrations. If you are interested, please let us know. Lawnacres is a 20 acre farm that focuses on enhancing wellbeing through the presence of horses and nature. The Bunky itself is a converted horse stall in one of the barns on the property. The glamping space is approximately 10x12, with a queen size log bed and wide rustic cedar plank flooring. The “stall” to the north houses an outdoor shower and sauna. It’s about a 30 foot walk to the outhouse. Guests are free to amble about the acreage, which has a stream, a wooded path and some wide open meadow. Need some quiet time to get to that writing/art/journaling project you’ve been dreaming about? We have a 20x20 outdoor platform that’s ideal for your yoga/meditation practice. Give yourself the gift of your own personal retreat. We’re located about 40 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle, 15 minutes from Woodinville. It’s a perfect escape from urban life with just a short drive. The horses are available for pets and scratches, but not riding or feeding. Because we have horses, chickens and dogs (as well as visiting deer and coyotes) we don’t allow guests to bring their own animals. The site has a queen sized bed and no extra room. We have a strict 2 guest limit.
