I camped in campsite 16 over the past weekend. I am in love with this state park. There are so many activities to do including: rock climbing/ bouldering, fishing, swimming, hiking, animal watching, ranger events, and of course spending time with friends. This state park is perfect for people in Austin that just want to get out of the city and enjoy nature close by. The water is beautiful and there is so much cool wildlife to watch. The primitive sites are just off the water and next time I plan to try one of those sites. I also HIGHLY recommend going on any ranger activities. I went on a night hike and we found many cool things such as frogs and scorpions that glow in black light. Happy Camping!

There are lots of great trees for Ham-mocking in your campground space.Night hike with the ranger to look for scorpions with a black light. How adventurous are you?Deer in the morning around the trailsUpper Falls
