My stay at Sunflower Cabin with friends was wonderful! Rhonda is such a sweet person and helpful camp host. She gave us some good local hiking suggestions and her husband, Jay, brought firewood to our campsite. The cabin and the bath house were both very clean, and the property is so secluded and beautiful. My friends and I brought our dogs along - they had zero complaints about their stay :) The cabins are primitive, so come prepared to cook your food over a campfire and bring a head lamp!

The main office at the entrance of Shoestring Creek Campground. Rhonda and her family were the sweetest camp hosts. When you check in be sure to mark where you're coming from on their world map!Little Sunflower Cabin in the big woods. The water at the bath house is non-potable but can be used for washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc! Lots of lazy porch sitting for us, please.

Super peaceful and quiet experience. The primitive cabin was well kept and super clean. The driving directions are truthful. If you haven't been on one-lane gravel roads be prepared for a new experience, but that just makes for a quiet experience away from it all. We hope to go back again!

Rhonda was a stellar host, friendly and helpful. The cabin was adorable, well-constructed, and comfortable. The directions provided for getting to the Campground were detailed and helpful, especially with the lack of consistent GPS service. The road in was a little challenging for my tiny car, but even with a low ride and a full hatchback I made it in and out each day without major issues. The bathhouse was well-maintained and comfortable. I will definitely recommend the site to friends and will be back myself.

We had the most amazing time at shoestring Creek! It was our anniversary trip and Rhonda had a card for us and was so amazing! We had the opportunity to stay in two different cabins and both were just adorable. We will definitely be going back as much as we can!
