What an amazing trip! A truly great find! The farm was beautiful, conveniently located and was exactly what we were hoping for. As a host, Lori was terrific as well. She was friendly, welcoming (including great breakfast recommendations) and easy to communicate with, yet she still offered a level of privacy and independence on the farm. As a whole, we had a great experience and hope to return in the future. Highly recommend a stay at Over the Rainbow if you are planning to stay in the area.

This was our first camping trip with our 3 year old and it was the perfect place to land! Lorie, the host, for starters, is absolutely lovely and full of good ideas and resources in the area. Also the spot had all these lovely animals that my son was fascinated by, he had a pony ride that he loved, and also there was a plethora of playground equipment for him to run around on and enjoy. There is a fire pit with a small grill on it, and a nice bathroom for your use . We sadly got rained out on the second day, but it was so nice we are sure to be back. And bonus, it is very close to the cute town of Frenchtown, NJ so if you get lazy and want to get a meal out on the town it's very accessible.

This was such a wonderful weekend. Rainbow Farm is an incredibly special place. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 7 boys ranging in age from 3-10 yrs old. Everyone was happy, loved the campsite and all it had to offer. While the adults were preparing the camp site or a meal all the kids could play on/ with the playground, the trampoline, horse shoes, tether ball, badminton, volley ball, multiple swings, and of course there are all the animals roaming freely or in pens around the farm. There are horses all around the campsite even overnight giving a very cool feel to the whole experience.
We took a farm tour which was very interesting and a wonderful activity for all ages. Then each kid and some of the adults took horseback riding lessons on the beautiful horses. The instructors were kind and patient and challenged the kid at the appropriate age (both 3 and 10 year olds). The owners were lovely, helpful, available but also gave us plenty of privacy and were extremely tolerant of all the boys (who can a little rowdy at times especially when there are so many of them). There was a live rock concert Saturday night on the farm which was a great surprise that we all enjoyed tremendously. We will be back!

This was an absolutely phenomenal place! We loved every minute of it! We came with a toddler, and she had a blast too. We were the only camper that weekend. There are so many animals to see for our daughter, and one of the horses even gave birth while we were there. There is also playgroup equipment and a pool (small extra fee). Host was very friendly and responsive. (Be aware that the phone number listed on Hipcamp is wrong.)
We cannot wait to come back!

The spot is nice for getting away from town, or a great place to stay if you are visiting the popular New Hope-Lambertville area nearby. The horses are beautiful and you are right next to the barn, etc. This is not a rustic, out in the woods type of campground though, if that's what you're looking for. A perfect spot for families or new campers!
