What’s wooded, beachy, and baller all over? We’ll tell ya. It’s Tar Hollow State Park Campground. Let us elaborate. We love that you can keep yourself busy with the classics like biking and boating, both for which rentals are available, fishing, and hiking. But, there’s more—a nature center, an indoor arcade, a mini golf course, a shower house, and drinking water. Oh, and a mutha truckin’ washer and dryer. Mind=blown. Excuse us while we take a moment on one of the many electric sites, variety of non-electric and walk-up sites, and handful of backpacking sites at this pet-friendly campground. Exhale.

Sites 101-112 are nice for car campers. I highly recommend trying to find a primitive walk-in site near the fire tower.
