The vibe at Caesar Creek Campground
Drop some Caesar Creek Campground knowledge on us.
This campground seems to be set up more for RVs and campers, BUT the spot we chose for tent camping was perfect. The restrooms were clean but older. They could definitely do with some updating. But I'll take old and clean over new and dirty. Make sure to check out the activity fliers they hand out. We were able to take our kids canoeing for no charge because the park had free activities that weekend. The kids were comfortable just exploring (we were in a more wooded area of the park) and we even were privileged to watch some bats eat their breakfast at dusk. :) We will be going here again. :
Choose a site closest to the lake! The campground offers a variety of "types" or camping spots. Aside from the standard RV or tent sites, you can choose a site close to neighbors, or occupy an area with a private trail leading to the lake for an intimate viewing sunset over the trees and water. Plus, Ohio State Parks offer free launching of your personal watercraft so be sure to bring your canoe, kayak, or paddleboard!
