Incredible place, great facilities, friendky care takers, great spot for families. Felt like we were in the middle of no where. Highly recommend and will be back again.

We booked powered site 1, lovely views! Everything was lovey and tidy! Caretaker was friendly and made sure we were comfortable! Beautiful and quiet with wonderful views, not far from town if you require anything! Would recommend

Exceeded expectations

Powered site 4 was amazing, perched in the top of the hill. Host Alec (Darcee was away) and caretaker Andrew were both friendly and down to earth. The views are amazing, we were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves and walk around all of the sites. We loved site 3 and 4 of the Powered site and Lake view was our favourite non-Powered site. The amenities were great, with a clean and hit shower and flushing toilet up on the hill with the Powered sites. There is a dump point at the rear of the toilet - best one I've ever used. The dam and pontoon were great to look at, but also great for a swim, our Labs loved this! The entire camping area is beautifully mowed and maintained and so green. It was a treat to watch down on the workings of the farm, with the cows going in for milking and the resting cows inquisitively popping by the fence to say hello. One day we went for a 30 min drive to Taylor's Arm for lunch at The Pub with no Beer - highly recommended. The following day we went for a 35 min drive to Nambucca Heads for lunch at The V Wall Tavern - also highly recommended. We stayed three nights and will return, this is a great hipcamp.

An awesome view of the surrounding farms and hills. Only one site in this location with the amenities a short walk down the . So, very peaceful. I found the steep section of the loose gravel driveway a bit tough for my 2wd van. But otherwise a great spot.

A truly stunning bit of Australia… We enjoyed every minute of our three night stay on the Lake View site. Amazing amenities for a Hipcamp with a dump point on site ! It was a little tricky getting our 19 foot van through, but with some skill was no issues. Very quiet and peaceful area with nothing but the sounds of ducks across the lake and a few moo’s from the cows. Host was friendly and tipped us to come back in Autumn for the best photograph opportunities. Can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back.

Top Ridge 1

Lovely site, only a few spots which make it feel extra spacious. The amenities are clean and well laid out. Shower for instance has a bench and several hooks, and space around the shower to change and lay out your stuff. Will definitely be returning.

We loved Valley View Escape. The serenity was just what we needed. The spectacular views, well manicure lawns and clean amenities or an added bonus. The hosts Darcee and Alec are very easy going and a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely stunning place! Clean amenities, easy to find. Incredible sunset and sunrise spot.Powered Site 4 was the perfect location to have the best view of the valley. Check the wind before you set up! Can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed our couple of nights at Valley View Escape. The caretaker came and welcomed us soon after we arrived, we were the only site on the water. We put our kayaks in and had a lovely time relaxing.

We loved our 2 nights at Valley View Escape, we stayed on the Lake View site which was just so beautiful right on the dam with the most amazing sunsets. Great location near Nambucca Heads, the caretaker, Andrew, was super friendly and really helpful. We have a 22’6 caravan and it was tight getting in and out of the site itself and took some skilled manoeuvring so anything bigger I wouldn’t recommend.

Such a beautiful beautiful piece of paradise. My favourite part was waking up to the mist covered mountains and the sounds of hundreds of birds, at sunrise! And also, 3 swims a day in the dam!

I absolutely loved camping at Valley Views! The scenery was stunning — waking up to rolling hills and peaceful sunrise views made the trip unforgettable. The site was clean, easy to find, and well spaced out, giving us plenty of privacy. The hosts were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. At night, the stars were incredible, and it was so quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a calm getaway close to nature! 🌄

What a beautiful valley. It was great that there were other people staying on the other sites yet we still had privacy. Beautiful sunset and gorgeous weather. The only downside was the amount of flys.

Beautiful valley views from all sites on the property, well maintained flat areas make setting up relatively easy. Very quiet and peaceful setting with an abundance of bird life. We will definitely return to this property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley View. Darcee is the ultimate host. The views from our camp at Middle Ridge were amazing. Bonus of a firepit to sit around and enjoy the light show in the sky at night.

Lake View site stay.

Absolutely loved the serenity of this place. It was far enough away from everything (and other campers) so we had absolute peace and quiet on the Lake View site. I would definitely come back. But next time I would more than likely opt for the Middle Ridge site. I’m sure it’s just the season, weather, proximity to the water, but the flying ants came thick and fast. So much so that a trip to the Bowraville IGA was needed for flying insect and surface spray. Yea they were a pain in the arse. But they didn’t spoil our stay. Close to Nambucca Heads for some beach walks, and up into the nearby mountains for some bush walks too. Overall a really enjoyable stay. Thanks Darcee.

We've just spent ten nights at Valley view escape and didn't want to go back to the tweed. The farm stay was exquisite and views and weather was stunning. The host Darcee and Alec are absolutely awesome and I would absolutely recommend them as above and beyond. Absolutely awesome thanks guys.

The stunning camp grounds offered impeccable views that stretched for miles. Having hot showers and flushing toilets truly elevated the experience. The host's lovely demeanor made everyone feel welcome and at ease. It was also a relief knowing that the location was dog friendly. The price was fantastic. We had 8 people, 7 dogs and 4 caravans in our group all on powered sites with so much room. Overall, it's a beautiful place that is worth visiting.
