Perfect off grid camping! All our sites are suitable for groups of friends and family that want to enjoy a few days away camping or a nice private escape for couples. Our family farm is a working cattle property where you will see cows and calves and share the space while they graze on the rolling hills. Our picturesque farm is nestled at the end of a road surrounded by Mount Jerusalem and Nightcap National Park. Our farm offers a unique camping experience where visitors can escape the hustle and bustle and relax and immerse themselves in the tranquility. Our farm is a situated approximately an hour from the Gold Coast, 40 mins from Nimbin and Murwillumbah, an hour from Byron Bay and only 20 mins from the beautiful historical village of Uki. Our farm boasts rolling hills, lush green pastures, and serene creeks and dams. Whether you’re pitching a tent or parking your caravan, you’ll wake up to breathtaking views every morning. At night, have a campfire and see the sky come alive with stars. Grab a blanket, lie back, and marvel at the constellations. Our remote location ensures minimal light pollution, making it an ideal spot for stargazers. Firewood is available for sale, please feel free to ask.

This is the ultimate off grid camp spot for those that love amazing views and to be surrounded by nature with total privacy. This site is only accessible in dry weather with 4WD vehicles. Please message us before booking this site it check on access conditions and if you are unsure if your vehicle van/trailer is suitable. The Plateau is the most amazing spot to camp. This campsite is part of a working cattle farm, so you may see cows grazing nearby. To keep the camping area clean and comfortable, we've installed an electric fence around the site to prevent cattle from wandering through, no cow poo in your camping zone! If you'd prefer to turn the fence off, there are clear instructions provided in the arrival details. You’ll still enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere, just with a little extra privacy and cleanliness. If you’re bringing your pet along for the adventure, we strongly recommend ensuring their tick prevention is up to date. As with any farm environment, ticks can be present, and we want your furry friends to stay safe and comfortable during your stay.

This site has the most amazing view overlooking our big dam with Doughboy Mountain and Mt Warning in the background. The site is suitable to offroad campers. In wet condition you may need 4wd to access this site. Big Dam Camp is a very secluded site situated at the back of property nestled under Mount Jerusalem & Nightcap National Park. The view is spectacular and as evening descends, gather around the communal fire pit. Roast marshmallows, swap stories, and watch the sun set. Here, the only rush is the wind through the trees, and the only deadline is the sunrise. This campsite is part of a working cattle farm, so you may see cows grazing nearby. To keep the camping area clean and comfortable, we've installed an electric fence around the site to prevent cattle from wandering through, no cow poo in your camping zone! We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. *Please read tick note further down!* The location is stunning, and private with beautiful views and a real sense of peace. The zoned camping area was ideal, giving great separation from the cows and a large clean area for setup! Communication with the hosts was excellent. It was great that firewood could be pre-arranged. The dam was a lovely bonus, using the provided kayak was a highlight. Access does involve walking through very long grass, so a mown track to the dam would be really helpful here! The recommendation for tick prevention was also very helpful, as there are a lot of ticks. Our dogs ended up with hundreds (not an exaggeration😢), so up-to-date tick prevention is absolutely essential for fur babies. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful spot that we’d happily recommend and return to, with a bit of extra care needed to ensure the safety of your pets!

Anna's property offers exceptional beauty and privacy, even with other campers present in a separate area. Anna's Hipcamp provides clear directions for locating our designated area. We had the opportunity to observe and interact with two calves during their feeding. Anna and Family were very welcoming.

It has been an incredible experience to camp at Family Tree. Anna’s hospitality was exceptional—very warm and welcoming—and she made our stay there so easy and comfortable. You have a lot of privacy and are in direct contact with nature, exactly what we were looking for. A 10/10 experience!

The Family Tree
From the moment we booked our site The Family Tree throughout our 3 day stay was nothing but perfect. First up Anna and Tim are amazing hosts. The communication was fantastic and easy directions to site. Anna met us and showed us down to a gorgeous site The Family Tree right beside a running creek that was just bliss to listen too and let your worries fade away. Also just magical veiws of mountains,ridgetops, and beautiful nature everywhere you look. On a clear night the million star view is beyond stunning 😍 The site was clean and tidy, some good shade for the hot summer days. We also were very grateful to Anna and Tim who offered to take us around to show us all the other sites they have on the farm and can I say they are all amazing from down by the creek sites and up too the sites looking over the valley. The top sites would be amazing for sunset views. We absolutely loved our back to nature farm stay with the most wonderful hosts we have ever had. We can't wait to return 🤩and would not hesitate recommending Tweed Valley Doon Doon Thankyou Anna and Tim Truly grateful for you sharing your beautiful part of the world with us 🫶

Big Dam Camp
We loved our time camping at the Big Dam! It was peak summer but it was a good few degrees cooler up there. You're at the base of a number of absolutely stunning mountains so the views are spectacular. The location is about 40 minutes from Nimbin and 20 from Uki which has a lovely coffee shop (The Roasting Office).

Stunning location and also a scenic drive in. Very peaceful and felt nicely isolated up on top with beautiful Mountain View’s. Loads of birdlife to bring the morning in was also a nice treat. Heed the advice to make contact if there has been wet weather, as a short section of track to the site can be a challenge.

We had a very relaxing few days staying at the Natures Nest site. The backdrop of the cliffs and the view over the valley is amazing. Great place to just get away from all the noise and just chill by the fire!!!

We stayed for two nights at the Big Dam Camp Site and it was absolutely beautiful. Anna’s hospitality was incredible — she went above and beyond during our stay, and I would 100% recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back! 🥰 We forgot our gas bottles and all the firewood was wet, but Anna helped us out and even lent us her own gas bottle. We’re so thankful for such an amazing host! The campsite we chose had a little dam with a kayak, was extremely private, and was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!

We had an incredible stay at Big Dam Camp, Tweed Valley (Doon Doon Farm). The views were absolutely stunning, and the sense of isolation made it feel like our own private piece of paradise. Surrounded by nature, with friendly cows wandering by and peaceful scenery all around, it was the perfect escape. Just a short drive to Nimbin too, which made for a great day trip. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to unwind and reconnect with nature.

The Family Tree
We stayed at the Family Tree camp. It was a beautiful spot next to a running creek. Host was wonderful, greeted us at the front, Anna and her two gorgeous dogs escorted us to our camp. The camp itself was quiet, secluded and felt like there was no body around! Level ground with an amazing view of the mountain. Cattle in the distance and overall just an incredible property. Not much else you can ask for. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!!

Anna's property was seriously stunning! It was so secluded and quiet which made for the perfect getaway. We are expecting our first child very soon, so it was super special to stay beneath the family tree and have such nice memories of this place.

What an amazing spot. Felt like we were on top of the world. Mountain views and clear starry skies we couldn’t ask for more. Site was clean and grass was nice and short and free of cow pats, not that that would have bothered us. There was an electric fence around the camp site to keep the locals at bay but we loved seeing the cows and the most adorable calves walking around and grazing just outside the fence. It was a hot weekend so we cooled of in the dam on our floaties, there was also a kayake and paddle board at the edge of the dam to use. We didn’t see the owners at all but they gave clear instructions on how to access the property and our site. Would we stay again, absolutely!

We stayed at the plateau for 4 nights and enjoyed the incredible views and serenity! Anna was quick to answer any questions about access which ended up being easy. All in all we had a great time and would recommend the plateau to anyone seeking peace and quite with amazing views.

Natures Nest
Had an awesome stay at Nature’s Nest Campsite on Doon Doon Farm! The views over the valley were absolutely beautiful, especially with the mountains of the national park as a backdrop. The sunrise and sunset each day were just magic. The site itself was lush and green with soft grass and a couple of trees for shade. It was clean, quiet, and felt nice and private – a great spot to relax and unwind away from everyone else. We had a mix of setups: 3 of us and a doggo staying in an ute with swag alongside and a second vehicle and a caravan which worked perfectly. The stone fire pit was fantastic for cooking and sitting around at night, and the weather couldn’t have been better. We also loved seeing the cows and adorable baby calves wandering nearby – such a nice country touch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting a peaceful farm stay with incredible views and a proper connection to nature.
