Welcome To The Beautiful Scrub. We are a 200 acre working cattle property with a Simmental cattle Stud and Endurance Arabians. The property is situated at the base of MT Lion and on Lynchs creek which flows from the rainforest. There are great hiking tracks along the creek which lead you to fishing holes and swimming holes. You can also hike our property to see Border view camp spot which has beautiful and amazing views of the Border Rangers, you can see Lynchs ck and Warrazambil ck falls in the distance ,you can also look down the valley towards Kyogle and surrounds.There is also an abundance of wildlife on the hike Koala's are often about if you look up for them usually early morning or late afternoon. You will also come across our beautiful Simmental cattle on the hike they are very quite. There is also Fern gully picnic spot on the hike which is a great spot to relax or do some morning yoga at the small waterfall . Children will also find fairy homes. .Fern Gully is a very tranquil. There is a 1km of creek to explore with great fishing spots you can catch Perch ,Cat fish Mullet ,and Carp. The creek is lots of fun to kayak on. There is plenty of creek to paddle and Awesome rapids to challenge yourself. And one of our favourite things to do is fossicking you can find Quartz, Citrine and Jasper.. The Village of Wiangaree is just 4klm from the camp grounds they have great coffee and hot food and also do Friday night meals. And in walking distance of 200 meters is Ferndale Pantry which sells sourdough, eggs, chutneys, cakes and more. We are also a 10klm drive to to the Border Rangers National Park. The Campgrounds are beautifully and are situated on the creek. There are 5 spacious dispersed sites . There are fire pits available and fire wood is available for $20 a wheelbarrow full, just ask on arrival. Rubbish must be taken with you when you leave. There is no toilet, you must bring your own toilet and take home all waste. Bush toilet is not acceptable. Wiangaree have Public toilets. And no potable water. Enjoy your stay at the beautiful Scrub. There are 5 dispersed sites and the grounds are situated next to the gorgeous Lynchs creek ready to go fishing fossicking or kayaking. For those keen on hiking there are arrows you can follow that take you around our property where you will meet the Arabian horses and our Quite Simmental cattle. We do have fire pits and fire wood available. There is no toilet.,you must bring your own toilet and take your waste with you when you leave..Bush toilet is not acceptable. Wiangaree have Public toilet. Enjoy your stay.

What a beautiful peaceful spot to camp. Plenty of space and a lovely well marked trail to walk. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely spot with some beautiful big trees, clean creek, picturesque views and friendly horses. We had the place to ourselves and the stars at night were amazing. You can tell the host has put thought into making it welcoming with little touches around the site.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Scrub Lynches Creek. The camp site was very well maintained and very peaceful with lots of thoughtful ideas for providing activities for families. Loved exploring the hiking tracks which were very well sign posted. Our hosts were very friendly and obliging. We are looking forward to returning in the warmer months so that we can make the most of swimming in the creek. Thanks Deb, your hard work was appreciated.

Fantastic scenic getaway. Beautiful river and landscaped camp area, very well maintained. Large sites and pet friendly. Brilliant hosts. Definitely a must do

Beautiful spot not too far from Kyogle (food stores, petrol stations etc). Debra is a wonderful host, and my dogs and I really enjoyed hiking and exploring the creek and well marked hiking trails. Hope to be back sometime!

Great little spot by the creek. Weather was a bit crappy for us but still enjoyed our stay. Host are very welcoming and the grounds clean and tidy. Perfect for a quick little get away l.

We absolutely loved “The Scrub”. Debra & her husband were so accommodating to us. The photos don’t do this camp justice, definitely one of our favourites despite the bad weather. We highly recommend this camp! Dogs & kids loved it!

Debra's little piece of paradise in The Scrub was just lovely. You do need to choose your spot wisely as it does consist of small rolling hills, but we loved our site perched high above the creek, listening to it running by all night. The kids enjoyed walking down to the beach and swimming briefly in it's coldness and the boys tried a spot of unsuccessful fishing. If you're on the Telstra network, there is some mobile signal, but not on Optus and there is no television reception either. There is lots to do if you want to stay put on the property - stargazing, campfire, bushwalks, patting the horses, playing in the creek, tree swings and a box of games/toys under a big tree. But it's also easy to access the Border Ranges National Park for a day out - our favourite spots were Pinnacle Lookout and Brushbox Falls. The property is also only 20 minutes away from Kyogle with all your supply needs, although there is a small corner store a few minutes away.

We loved our stay at Deb and Gordons property so much that we extended our stay by 3 nights. The campgrounds are clean, tidy, spacious and the whole place is well maintained. The kids enjoyed swimming in the waterhole and floating downstream, skipping stones and watching the stars around the camp-fire... a bonus is the swings set up around the property and the game box for them to use during their stay- it was definately a hit! We look forward to visiting The Scrub again in the future.

Lovely weekend away

Had a lovely weekend away on Debra’s farm. Nice walk to the small waterfall where we were very excited to see a koala snoozing in a gum tree. Beautiful green campground shaded by large trees, friendly horses, plenty of cows to watch from across the creek. The creek itself was lovely and we spent a lot of time scouting around for quartz. Debra was lovely and very welcoming.

Great relaxing Easter weekend away. Cool river to dip in, beautiful hikes to explore on owners land. Dog and fire friendly, Deb dropped of ample wood to last me a couple nights and cold mornings. Ample space with green grass between each site. Must explore FernGully beautiful magical vibe.

The Scrub is a great place to stay for a relaxing farm-stay break. Those so inclined can enjoy a paddle, swim or even a fish in the creek, as well as a walk/hike to a fairy glen on the property. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Lovely Peaceful spot, we enjoyed Fishing, exploring the river and swimming spots, the walking tracks and visiting the horses. Great friendly hosts who made us feel welcome and enjoyed sharing stories. We will be back!

What an awesome place. Beautiful big grassy area underneath ancient trees with a creek running along the edge. Firepits and firewood are available and so is a cute little dog. Debra and Gordon (might have misheard his name) were lovely too. Highly recommend this place.
