Oakey Ridge – Nature, Views & Wildlife on a Pet-Friendly Farm Nestled in the scenic hills between Lismore and Nimbin on our peaceful 277-acre beef cattle farm. This is a place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature. The property features a running creek, seasonal waterfalls, subtropical rainforest pockets, and open ridge lines with sweeping views. Our bushland is home to abundant wildlife – keep an eye out for wallabies, native birds, and if you’re lucky, a koala drinking from our treetop water stations. 🐾 Pet-Friendly: We love dogs, and they love it here too! Many of our guests bring their furry friends along for the adventure. There’s plenty of space to explore, just keep them supervised and under control around livestock and wildlife. 🌿 Nature & Adventure: Explore our designated nature corridor, take a peaceful walk, or hike up to one of our lookouts. For those with a 4WD, parts of the property offer even more to discover. 🚗 2WD Access: No 4WD? No worries! All main campsites are 2WD accessible and well spaced for privacy and comfort. 🛁 Clean Facilities: We provide simple, clean, and well-maintained amenities to make your stay comfortable. 🌱 Regeneration in Progress: We’re proud to be actively involved in land regeneration and sustainable farming practices, working to support biodiversity and a healthy future for the land. Oakey Ridge is nestled in the hills between Lismore and Nimbin. This 270ac property with a running creek, dry rainforest pockets, nature corridors, views, seasonal waterfalls and abundant wildlife running as a quiet beef cattle farm. 
Our main camping area stretches 900m along a ridge line that captures views from every direction. It is 2WD accessible and have many designated sites to choose from or create your own site if you wish. Within minutes walking distance to the bathroom and camp kitchen while still offering privacy and views of the property. If your 4WD & camping enthusiast and want that remote isolated camp spot We have many tracks around the property to find areas from private creek frontage, shaded valleys or elevated hilltops with views for kilometers. Our 4wd tracks are weather dependent if wanting to remote 4WD camp message first so can get an idea of your requirements and make some suggestions and prepare a site. 
We endeavour to make all our sites as private and where we can, out of view of other campers, whether its a late night stargaze around the fire or an early start to enjoy the sunrise, its like having the farm to yourself. From scenic high ridge lines to peaceful valleys there are many options to choose from. Finding that perfect spot is only limited by your imagination, and in some cases , access to a 4WD
Disconnect from every day life and enjoy the outdoors, Connect with your friends and family around the campfire, and if you need to keep in touch with the bustle, we have good Telstra mobile reception over most of the property and offer free wifi around camp kitchen Our bathroom has 2 flushing toilets and hot shower. We also have a camp kitchen with hot water, kettle, fridge and BBQ We take group bookings that offer large camp sites, powered areas and tailored camping options. Groups of 15 can have exclusive areas of the property Message me for information regarding your group. 
Lots to do in the local area, we are located 25 mins to both Nimbin & Lismore and 1 hour to Byron Bay.

Greg is an amazing host. His place is absolutely breathtaking and the sound of nature is magical. We were a large group with kids but Greg set us up really well. Thank you for the buggy ride up and down the hill .Highly recommended!!

Such a beautiful place, the views are spectacular and Greg is a super friendly host, sites were great, we felt like we were the only ones there, amenities clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!

I loved this campsite so much! The host Greg was lovely and very accommodating. We broke down due to a dead battery and Greg helped us charge it in the amenities so we could get home on the Sunday. His help doesn’t go unnoticed! Beautiful views and perfect location with pups such a wholesome 25th birthday for me I wot ever forget it :)

Loved camping with my little man. The space was huge and felt like you had it all to yourself , even though it was a busy weekend. So helpful with firewood and getting the fire going for us while everything was so drissly. . Was just beautiful !

The waterfall area was amazing. Continual sounds of the water running and the views were magic. Eventhough it was wet the kids loved playing in the little creek. Very 4x4 country Greg is an exceptional host.

Greg was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He kindly showed us around the available sites and let us choose the one we preferred, which we really appreciated. We also purchased firewood, and he provided more than enough for us to comfortably use over the two nights. The campsite itself was private and peaceful, surrounded by fencing, with a truly beautiful view. There was a simple toilet about a 3-minute walk away, and it was perfectly fine to use without any inconvenience. The shower and kitchen facilities were located near the entrance of the campground. They were clean and convenient, although a bit too far to comfortably walk from our site, so we ended up driving there. Overall, it was a wonderful camping experience and definitely somewhere we would love to visit again.

Greg was a sensational host. He was very kind and we’ll definitely be back. Greg made the effort to make our stay memorable. Highlights include a trip in the Polaris to watch the sunset on the ridge, being unbogged by the tractor and a complimentary pressure wash for the car on our departure. Honorable mention for the waterfall and the view we got to wake up to.

It was my first time camping and I loved it, Greg was amazing he took us on a trip around is property and it was absolutely beautiful then we had a nice walk down back to our camp site. Anywhere you stay here has stunning views in every direction.

It was a bit muddy because of the rain, but the host kindly let us choose our spot and even helped start the fire for the firewood we ordered. The area was spacious, and we enjoyed walking along the ridge. The kids had a great time catching dragonflies and butterflies, and the sound of crickets at night was so relaxing. There was only one place to shower, so we had to wait a bit if it was busy, but the hot water worked well and the kitchen was very convenient to use. It was quite a long trip to get there, but we had such a wonderful time.

The views on the farm are stunning. Greg was really helpful assisting us to find the best spot for our motorhome in the wet conditions. He shared interesting information about the farm, it is exciting to see all the plans he has for the future. We loved the cattle and waterfall and would highly recommend a stay on the farm.

Was great for our short stay, had been super wet, was fun watching the cars & FWD’s tearing up the tracks, Greg even towed a few out. Nice & peaceful area. Didn’t use the kitchen facilities, was too far away from our site.
