Nestled in the heart of nature, our working cattle farm offers a truly picturesque retreat for campers seeking tranquility and adventure. While our campsites are private and expansive, visitors should come fully self-sufficient, as there are no on-site toilets or showers. To enhance your experience, firewood is available for purchase, allowing you to create the perfect campfire ambiance under a star-filled sky. Conveniently located, the farm is just a short drive from the charming towns of Nimbin and Murwillumbah (30 minutes), the quaint village of Uki (15 minutes), and the scenic Clarrie Hall Dam (10 minutes), where you can enjoy swimming, sailing, and fishing. We loved camping here! The creek was beautiful, the kids had a ball finding rocks and even some thunder eggs. Jon was a great host, super helpful and friendly. The ground was a bit wet when we were there and we got stuck but Jon got us out with the tractor. If its been wet I'd recommend a 4wd and some max tracks. We only got stuck because we were towing our camper, if you just had a small trailer or just the car you'd be fine with 4wd and tracks. But if you did get stuck Jon is super friendly and keen to help.

Such an amazing, beautiful serene place to camp. Jon is very friendly and was very quick to respond to our questions and Ted the farm dog is a bonus. We have found our place and can't wait to return.

What a beautiful spot! Right on the creek, easy to find, some spotty reception to watch the footy by a campfire. Right in the gully of the high hills; stunning! The hosts had great communication aswell. Would recommend and would come back. 5/5

Amazing. This campsite is so quite, 360 degrees of stunning views. Falling asleep to the sound of a running creek after watching the milky away next to a fire..... Platypus place was the reset I needed. I will be back for sure. Thanks Jon for sharing your special place and for the great communication too =)

Beautiful spot and great directions, the host was very helpful in providing information before our visit. The grass area was beautiful but unfortunately not suited for the extremely wet weather during our visit, but looking forward to the opportunity to visit again when it’s drier.

Beautiful private spot by the running creek, with mountain surrounds. By night we were in the clouds at times! Jon organised a generous bag of firewood to be delivered to camp upon request; other than that we had the place to ourselves.

We loved our time at Caldera Creek Farm! Beautiful little spot tucked away in the mountains, perfect campsite right by the creek. Amazing trails to hike on the property - so good being able to explore with our dog! Very peaceful and quiet, hopefully we’ll have better weather next time to fully appreciate the rock pools in the creek.

What a stunning few days off grid next to the creek! We felt a million miles away and yet close enough for a drive to local small towns and natural attractions. The directions were very clear and communication with host was great. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful location next to a little stream and some very picturesque paddocks. The paddock we were in was certainly a little overgrown and rugged but this was also the kind of "wild" vibe we were after - perfect for us, but maybe not for everybody. Phone reception was also very patchy but again, we didn't book a camping trip to sit on our phones. The communication betwen Jon & his family was great and they came down to deliver some firewood and have a nice little chat. Great place, great people, great times. ...despite getting caught in the worst storm I've ever experienced in my life. Hopefully future campers have a bit more luck with the weather.

Jon was awesome — super responsive and really went out of his way to help us find the perfect spot. We ended up in a beautiful, private area surrounded by amazing mountains with little creeks to explore. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and Jon even gave us great tips on places to check out nearby. Such a tranquil spot — we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful property, plenty of space so we couldn’t see or hear any other campers! The creek was awesome for the kids to wander. Jon was an awesome host and went above and beyond And we love Ted the farm dog!! He was part of our family for a few hours much to the excitement of our youngest son Ted Ted the dog was super protective of our kids so we felt at ease instantly. 100% would book again

From the breathtaking landscape, absolute privacy, your very own creek pools, offleash freedom for my dog, plenty of walking options, friendly yet respectful owners, there’s nothing not to love! Due to a hectic schedule, I only gave Jon a few hours notice of my booking and he was responsive and obliging. I met him at the gate and he had firewood delivered to camp already. There is no internet access from the camp site but is available just a short 50m walk up the hill - to be honest it was a blessing not to have it and allowed me to truly relax and reset. Ted the super friendly heeler hit it off with my Ted the cavoodle and he kept us company sleeping outside our van on our first night which was lovely. We enjoyed meeting Jon and his family on our last day and hear their story. Definitely recommend and would love to return!
