When Fort Wilkins says “modern,” they mean modern. The set of “modern campsites” up for grabs here not only comes with electric hookups, but you’ll get Wi-Fi too! So practice your best duck face to upload to Instagram—bonus points if you take your pic with an actual duck in it. When you’re done with your glamour shotz, go explore the nearby Fort Wilkins Foot Trail or lighthouse.

I really enjoyed this campground! Every campsite has a line of trees between yours and the next.

Just a few miles down the road you can see all the way out over Lake Superior; if it would have been clear it would have been a magical sunsetNothing beats hotdogs over a fireNothing beats hotdogs over a firem o r n i n g

Nice state park campground & usually has openings for campers without reservations. Nestled on a strip of land between Lake Superior and Lake Fanny Hooe. If you like to fish, you'll have great fishing on Lake Fanny Hooe and from the fishing docks in Copper Harbor.
