When you’re feeling a bit Vitamin D-deficient, the rest of the park offers nearly 84 miles of trails—many of which are bike- and horse-friendly—and more than 30 miles of the Green and Nolin Rivers, favorites of boaters and fishers/lovers of muskellunge, bluegill, catfish, bass, perch, and crappie.

My girlfriend and I drove across the country, and this was one of our favorite spots we camped.

We were there on a particularly quiet night and we wish our schedule would have let us stay a few more nights!

You definitely must take a tour (or two) of the caves!

Fun place to explore and an easy location to check out the largest cave network in North America. Bring a jacket for the caves though.
