My girlfriend and I had a great night at Maxwell Glamping. Robert is very responsive. The tent has everything you need, including firewood, pots & pans, silverware, cups, bowls, large jugs of water, water bottles, battery powered lights, a propane powered stovetop for easy cooking, a fire pit, and a franklin stove inside the tent. We stayed on a cold night (20 degree low) in November, cooked a meal and drank by the fireplace while watching the stars. The stargazing here is incredible. At night, we were initially warm with the fire going outside and the stove going inside, though by morning the fire had died and we were glad we brought a lot of layers to bundle up underneath the blankets. We did have some trouble keeping the smoke from the stove out of the tent. There's a chimney for the exhaust but we still managed to have smoke seeping out. I'm sure we did something wrong. The site is secluded but as some other guests mentioned, you do hear vehicles on the nearby road. I'm not quite sure what all these people are doing late at night on this small road. One driver was doing donuts in the parking lot nearby. Another driver must have mistaken their camp site for ours and entered our site late at night, which required taking down the rope and everything. They circled around our vehicle before taking off, which left us momentarily terrified. After that though we fell asleep bundled up and woke up just before sunrise to head off for Zion. We cooked some eggs & bacon on the propane stove. The individual coffee packets Robert included were perfect for warming up. We weren't sure if the expectation was to wash the dishes. We tried, but my hands were too frozen to go on. Sorry that we left a mess, Robert! On the way to Zion or to Robert's tent from Vegas, stop at the River Rock Roasters! We would definitely stay again.

Though this listing is classified as "near Zion", it's about an hour away. The town of Hildale is somewhat desolate and there's not many amenities. But, this glamping tent was stylish and well-done with a comfortable bed and everything you might need to cook on the propane stove. We had trouble with the indoor fireplace and gave up on it after about an hour of messing with it and lots of smoke. The nearby bathrooms at Maxwell Park are fine, but heavily used by other people at all hours of the night and we could easily hear them from where we were. I would probably prefer a composting toilet near the tent. The stars were incredible at night though, and Robert was one of the most responsive hosts I've ever had.

Wonderful spot!!!! They literally had everything we could have needed in the spot except a fridge full of food. Amazing spot that's even better than the photos. A little close to the road but still great. The only suggestion I have: they have a book that has details of everything, except how to use the castiron heater/stove. We had some trouble using it. It would have been nice if instructions on that were included in the book. All in all, we will absolutely return to this spot in the future.

This site was great. Robert answered very quickly to our questions. All the equipment including tanks of water, firewood and a map with tips were available. The tent was beautifully located in a canyon. We had a great experience!

We had an amazing experience there. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and magical place. No regrets. Nice, cozy tent with comfortable bed and pillows. We wish we could stay there longer, not just for one night...

Our stay was wonderful! The location is great as my fiancé and I went to Zion and Bryce National Parks, as well as to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes nearby. All while getting plenty of time to relax around the tent and enjoy the beautiful campsite views for a long weekend. And thank you to the host for all the firewood, pots and pans, propane, and so forth he provided. It can be such a hassle sometimes to travel with so much or forget and have to make stops, takes away for the goal of relaxation or adventuring of camping.

The tent set-up was so cozy and everything we needed was there. It got very chilly the night we were there but the Franklin stove kept us nice and warm, and the bed was so comfy! It was such a pleasure to wake up to that view too.

The glamsite was absolutely stunning...gorgeous views, great trails in the vicinity and a relatively quick drive to Zion National Park. We had great communication with Robert, especially when we woke up to a foot of snow blanketing the area! If you enjoy the privacy of your own campsite in a secluded outdoor setting, this place is for you.

We had an absolutely perfect time staying at Maxwell Glamp! We picked a weekend in February that ended up being VERY cold, high 39, low 12! But, thanks to Robert, we had everything we needed, TONS of firewood, a tent stove and plenty of extra blankets. We enjoyed an evening by the fire pit and he provided everything we needed for cooking meals, we just had to bring the food! Robert was helpful from the time of booking until we left, and unfortunately forgot something at the campsite. He was very responsive to our questions and graciously offered to ship our belonging back, no charge to us. We enjoyed the view tremendously, the location close to Hurricane (River Rock Roasters FTW!) and Zion where we spent a day hiking. We will definitely be back, in warmer weather!

It was a fun place to be at during the November time. Tent and camping place is exactly what is described in the pictures. You dont have to carry anything else except extra layers of sheet (that too if you're travelling in cold days, also host will definitely let you know what to carry just couple of days before your visit) and your food. Also we struggled a little bit to light up the firewood initially, that may be because we didn't know how to light them up, but if you want to take something that can easen the lightening up, you should. Toilets near the camping site are available within the Maxwell Park's territory. You just have to take a 5 min walk to reach there. Its clean and has water for cleaning up. Host had kept two extra sleeping bags as well in case if needed for us. We enjoyed our time there and would love to visit soon again.

Beautiful little corner all to ourselves in the high desert. The site is secluded enough to feel like it is just us, though close enough to a park to use the bathrooms, and to civilization to pick up ice, etc. I would definitely come back!

Really nice, well stocked camp site with a beautiful view!! Very close to the park nearby with bathrooms. Robert was communicative and helpful with directions. You can hear a bit of traffic from a road nearby that leads to the park, which scared us a bit because we are easily scared and have overactive imaginations, but that's on us! The site itself was beautiful and had everything we needed and more for our stay. Would definitely recommend!!

Solitary Glaming is exactly as advertised on Hipcamp. The property and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. The tent was super cool, clean and very well stocked. All you need to bring is what you want to eat. We did some amazing hiking right in the area. The host, Robert, is very friendly and responsive to my inquiries and he really thought of everything for this glampsite. My only recommendation is that it would be great to have a picnic table otherwise everything else was perfect. My husband and I will most certainly be back.

This campsite is gorgeous! It is a great place to relax and spend a romantic evening under the stars. If you are looking for a glamping experience, this is it! The view is great, the bed is really comfortable and it comes with everything you'll need. There's also a park near by and Zion national park is a close distance!

We had a great stay here. The host Robert had everything setup for us and we gave short notice. We booked a same day rental in the middle of the day. There was firewood in the fire pit, very comfortable bed, and a propane grill. We forgot plates, a spatchula and lighter. Luckily all of that was provided at this location! Great communication from the host and even messaged us directions. We would stay here every weekend if we could. Can't wait to go back!
