Hilleetla is a must see.
Hilleetla is beautiful. It is everything you could want in a weekend getaway. The landscape was good exercise for us and everything was beautiful. The hosts David and Alissa are gracious and kind. They brought help when we were rained on and really got the full experience. David even helped us when my car battery died. The 2 ponds are great for fishing and paddling, they have a canoe for your use. The different types of trees, flowers, critters, geese and chickens were all really neat to see.
All in all we had a great time and plan to return. On this trip was just us, but we plan to bring the kids and friends next time.
There are no complaints or critiques at all, we had a wonderful time. Thank you both for sharing your land with us!
Doesn’t get much better than this!
10 out of 10! Beautiful place. We came with our 2 kids (under 10) and we all had a blast. The lakes, the forest, the open fields, and nature, it does not get much better! The lakes provided good fishing and a were fun to swim ( cold water!!!)
I’m already planning to come back, either as a family, couple, or with a group of friends!
The host were awesome!
A great time at hilleetla
We enjoyed our stay at Hilleetla. Alissa was a really nice host and quickly responded to any question we had. You can tell they care a lot about their property. The property is very well maintained and the ecosystem there is thriving. We saw lots of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds in Alissa’s garden. It was over all a great experiences. We will definitely be back!
This was our second time staying at Hilleetla. Alissa and her husband David are so extremely accommodating. We love camping down near their creek under the trees. Great fishing on the back pond. We also enjoy the late night star gazing and their shower system. Bobbi, the dog was definitely a fun addition to this stay just like last time. We plan to come back again sometime in the colder months
It was gorgeous! The hosts were welcoming and the stream was a feature I would recommend anyone to check out. My daughter had a blast in its sandy bottom and clear waters. The pond is beautiful and the feathery friends are abundant. I enjoyed their waddling presence throughout the property. The restroom and shower were an added bonus.
An amazing place to camp
An amazing place to camp out.. the host is very kind helpful and understanding.. it was me and my guests first time camping and it was and we had a great time.. we will definitely be returning.
My boyfriend and I live the camper life on a regular basis. We went for fishing and private camping we both believe we got that experience 100% both home owners were extremely friendly. Had Bobbi ( their camper dog) with us the whole first night and slept outside our tent
Great camping experience away from
Hilleeta is such a beautiful place with so much to explore. Their dog Bobbi joined us while camping and really enhanced our experience there. David and Alissa are such cool people and were there for us if we had any needs. It was a nice dad trip with my friends and we are all looking forward to bringing our families next time.
P.S if you are surrounded by chickens and that big Mother Clucker rooster comes around they just want food. They're not to jump you, stay safe!
