Description

You’ll feel like you’re on your own camping island at these campgrounds surrounding by three different bodies of water - Como Lake, Oak Bayou and Dana Cove - and not far from the Gulf. Sites 40 - 49 are their own loop for tent campers with showers and restrooms next to the adjacent sites 50 - 69 which have additional water and electricity hookups. Make sure to get a good night’s sleep so you can wake up and be the first kayakers/canoers/anglers on the lake!

Great breeze in the spring time and not too far from the adorable downtown Galveston area which was totally rebuilt and improved after hurricane Ike. Not too much to do at the campground unless you want to attempt to fly kires or just hang out by the water. It does offer small shade structures which is nice.
