Welcome to our high desert hideaway in Southwest Colorado with some of the best views the Four Corners has to offer!
Expect warm summer days, cool nights, and some of the best sunrises and sunsets! Starry nights most of the year. The property include a spacious cabin and several dry camping site dispersed throughout the property. For the dry camping sites we keep things simple—this is rustic, off-grid camping, so come prepared with your own water and supplies.
Wide open spaces with mountain views in every direction. Rolling hills and shallow canyons dotted with juniper, oak brush, pine, and sagebrush. Wildlife, including elk and deer, can be found wandering through the property.

Weekend Trip to HTR Moab
Excellent place to stay and cool down... the studio cottage, was clean, spacious (only 2 of us) and conveniently located. The amenities, such as the grill, and outside seating was great.
Last and pehaps the best was the Manager Shawn, a very cordial, helpful and courteous fellow.

The loft cabins were awesome. Lots of room for my family of five. The kids loved the loft space, me and my wife got a room to ourselves. The kitchen space is good for cooking small meals, and the community kitchen offers even more cookware and space for larger ones.
The site is centrally located, 25 or so minutes from Arches and 40 to Canyonlands. Awesome star views. Moab was awesome and we would for sure stay at HTR again!

The studio cottage at HTR Moab was a pretty great base for spending time in Canyonlands and Arches. The unit had basic kitchen stuff, a decent bed (we didn't need to use the bunk beds so not sure how those are), and a very small but perfectly sufficient toilet/shower room. Having AC was also so great since it was HOT in Moab. It's on the south end of town, so that adds a few minutes of driving time to get to the parks but not a big deal at all.
The only thing that wasn't great was that the coffee maker clearly hadn't been cleaned, and the rug in the unit we stayed in definitely needs to be washed. And, I would still stay there again.

This was a lovely facility! The cabin was clean and cozy and well stocked with blankets and towels, as well as a fridge and microwave which I hadn’t expected. We got in late and checked out early, so we didn’t get to enjoy any of the amenities, such as lawn games, popcorn, or the fire pit. But when we come back to Moab we would definitely stay here again—it seems like a great home base, especially if you’re camping with friends! Highly recommend :)

Had a wonderful stay here! The patio views were absolutely gorgeous and so nice to be able to enjoy. Had super comfy furniture as well. Clean bathrooms and clean cabin. Great location. Definitely recommend doing the Moab skydiving if you have the opportunity!! They were flexible for check in and check out which was much appreciated. Would stay again!

Our stay was everything we needed! Very comfy king beds and a warm place to stop on our roadtrip! Clean communal bathrooms, with towels, soaps and bath mats were provided. This site was very well kept and would love to come back in the summer to try out those teepees!

After hours arrival was super easy. Cabin was very large and very clean.
Plenty of towels and washcloths made it feel like a luxury result.
Bath house has large shower stalls that are very clean and had wonderful
amenities. I peaked into 2 of the teepees and they look like fun especially if traveling with children. Would definitely recommend this place.

Right outside of Needles and the cheaper way to go. Loved the views, the facilities, the proximity to the park, and the privacy. We went in late May and the weather was perfect. I highly recommend.

A decent BLM campground, with sites arranged around a central sandstone formation that's nice to clamber onto to watch sunsets. No water anywhere nearby. Pit toilets, only one covered. Sites can be kinda slopy. If you don't want the campground, there are some dispersed sites on the road into the campground. And some more on the 4x4 road that descends the wash past the campground.
Found evidence of chipped tools right in the campground. Don't take 'em though, that's illegal.
Kind of a trek into the main park from here, so make sure you've got plenty of gas since the former gas station nearby is now closed.
