Discover the Thief River Falls Scenic Tourist Park, a hidden gem nestled along Highway 32 South and Oakland Park Road, offering breathtaking views of the lower Red Lake River and the picturesque Hartz Park. The park features 72 camping sites, including 16 full hook-up sites and 56 electric sites, ensuring a comfortable stay for all visitors. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the campground, and explore numerous locations for primitive camping for those seeking a more rustic experience. A friendly campground host is available part-time from approximately May 15th to September 15th to assist with any needs and collect fees.
At the heart of the park, you'll find a handicapped-accessible bathhouse equipped with free showers and flush toilets for your convenience. A lovely shelter overlooking Hartz Park is perfect for picnics and family gatherings, while fire rings scattered throughout the park invite you to enjoy cozy campfires under the stars. Please note that firewood must be certified by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) for safe transport and can be purchased from the campground host. Established in 1985, Voyageur's View has transformed from a cattle pasture into a thriving summer destination. In 2008, the operation was taken over by three of Richard and Diane Brumwell's children, who continue to uphold the family-friendly atmosphere that makes our campground enjoyable for guests of all ages.
