Things to consider before booking: we are on a secluded property with a variety of wildlife, including bears, cougars, bobcats, elk, deer, turkeys, snakes, hornets, yellow jackets, and more. Welcome to the 2026 Hipcamp Season. I am glad you found me. We are ready for fun season and can't wait to meet you! My camp is one of the most unique Hipcamp properties on the entire Oregon Coast. Come and stay at my licensed Hemp farm! Since 2015 I have been regenerating the soil and improving this once barren property. I plant a large portion of the property in Hemp plants. There is now abundant plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptiles. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills to keep making this small patch of earth better. The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a small forest. The property is fenced and access is by gate. I offer multiple sites for camping and glamping. All sites can use the portable toilet, shower and sink. We keep them clean, odor free and sanitized. Bring your outdoor gear! Adventures aplenty here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers, cyclists, hikers and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 min drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants like The Green Salmon Cafe where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Just down the road from the historic Oregon Country Fair grounds, there is a moss covered forest with friendly folks welcoming you to stop off and rest. Nights are quiet with faint to no road noise or light pollution. The driveway and grounds are flat with safe gated parking space for cars/vans and small-med sized trailers, tents etc. It is our pleasure to offer you a safe space to camp with your friends and family. Learn more about this land: Mosswood is on 5 acres of mostly forested land, there's usually a project going (or three). We've recently finished building a barn workshop, a covered timber frame deck in the meadow, and a very unique woven tree net that you'll be sure to enjoy! No dogs living here, just one friendly cat, otherwise it's squirrels, birds, and the occasional wild turkey procession or coyote. There is a large garden, and when growing season is on, we may send you packing with some fresh greens or veggies! If you see us out and about, feel free to come say hello or ask questions. We love sharing good conversations and ideas about how to live well and stay excited about all things. Towns/Activities nearby: Veneta/Elmira are charming small rural towns with all the basics less than 10 min drive: Grocery Outlet, Bi-mart, Ace hardware, Auto parts, some decent restaurants. Fern Ridge Lake is 10 minutes down the road for walking trails, boating and paddling, plenty of other outdoor activities nearby. Eugene is 25 min, and the beautiful Oregon coast is 45 min drive if you want to smell the ocean air and visit Florence.

Escape to your own private piece of the Oregon Coast! Lost Coast is located just 5 miles north of Florence, approximately 3/4 mile from the ocean and less than half a mile from beautiful Baker Beach. We offer ONE large, private campsite, so you won’t be sharing the camping area with other Hipcamp guests. Surrounded by old-growth timber and native coastal vegetation, there’s plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy the wild beauty of the Oregon Coast. Lost Coast is a great home base for exploring the area, with beaches, hiking trails, lakes, dunes and outdoor adventures just a short drive away. Florence is only 5 miles south for restaurants, shopping and supplies. Our surrounding acreage is wild and undeveloped. There are NO established hiking trails on the property and NO trail or guest access to Lily Lake. While we hope to create a path to the lake someday, the area is currently dense coastal vegetation and wetland terrain that can become extremely muddy. Please don’t attempt to hike to Lily Lake or explore deep into the undeveloped acreage. IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Lost Coast is located directly off Hwy 101 and highway traffic can be heard clearly from the campsite, both day and night. If you are a light sleeper, sensitive to road noise, or looking for a completely quiet camping experience, this is probably not the right campsite for you. We want to be very upfront about this before you book so there are no surprises. The tradeoff is an incredibly convenient location just minutes from Florence, Baker Beach and countless places to explore along the Oregon Coast. We have full-time neighbors just north of the property, so please be respectful of noise and keep a close eye on pets near Hwy 101. If you’re looking for a spacious, private place to camp, unwind and use as your home base for exploring the Oregon Coast, we’d love to have you!

River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

Welcome to Squared Roots Farm, a Garlic Farm and homestead in Alsea, Oregon. We specialize in gourmet hardneck garlic and sustainable farming practices. (IG @squaredrootsfarm) On our farm we grow veggies and flowers. We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and honey bees. You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too. Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments.
