It was a great spot! And Katherine was so incredibly nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
From the moment we arrived, Katherine was available to us to help us get acclimated with the premises, and settled in to our campsite. We have a rooftop tent on our pickup, so we parked next to the farmhouse where it was completely shaded.
Our campfire area was about 150 feet away, and was situated under two wonderful shade trees which made for a great place to relax and visit with our guests.
We enjoyed visiting the barnyard area where you were surrounded by goats and sheep of all sizes. Some were a bit shy, yet others were happy to nibble your shoe strings or random threads hanging from cut-off shorts. Otherwise, one would be hard pressed to leave the barnyard without a smile, and felling good about meeting the animals.
While at our campsite, we had the company of several farm cats who were willing to set on your lap if you allow them, otherwise they would rest nearby as though they have known you forever.
There were also some roosters who would visit the campsite from time to time, and hunt for bits of food that you may have dropped. Apart from that they go about their business and stop to crow once in a while to announce their presence.
The location of the camp was conducive to visiting some nearby metro parks that were within biking distance (approx 4mi).
Finally, Katherine was quick to respond whenever we had a questions both prior to/during our stay. I will say that we felt very welcome and at ease from arrival to departure.
Katherine’s site was perfect for our needs. Two huge, gorgeous maples were perfectly situated to hold my hammock. The portapotty was extremely clean and well stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. No smell at all! Better than many rest stop restrooms. Loved seeing all the free range chickens and roosters. We also got visits from five different sweet farm cats! Goats were grazing in a field a little ways away when we arrived, but we got to see them the next morning. The parking spot was closer to the house than I thought it might be - which wasn’t a problem for us at all. I just worried that the generator used for air conditioning in the teardrop trailer would be too loud for the house occupants, but hopefully it wasn’t a problem. Amazing firefly display at night! Just a gorgeous spot all around. Very grateful for Katherine’s excellent communication and hospitality. I would definitely love to stay here again (but without the loud generator!)

Katherine was such a wonderful host! There is an open hangar/barn with tables and chairs that made us so easy for us to cook with our camping stove. It was also a wonderful place to hang out before going to sleep in the tent.
The animals were so cute and so many friendly cats! Best way to spend my birthday. ❤️

We enjoyed our time camping with Katherine and the goats. This is a nice farm setting only about 25 minutes from downtown Columbus. The chickens acted as our alarm clock each of the two mornings and made several visits to us each day. The free-spirited goats made a few visits while they were out of the pen as well. Peter was a group favorite. I don't remember the campsite number, but it was farther from the barn and had a great location for a campfire. We are looking forward to returning later this year.
Me and my two friends loved this campground! The space is like a little fairytale, with the lovely animals everywhere and a lot of nature around you. The host is also super friendly and helps out a lot! Would 100 % recommend for people who love nature and don't mind chicken, goats, cats and lambs around them :)
Farm was beautiful. Great spot for tent camping. The animals were friendly. We ended up with a few cat friends hanging out with us. Can't wait to go back when it's warmer and experience more of the farm.

What a beautiful spot! I stopped here to camp for a night on my way from NY to AZ and it was perfect. The host, Katherine, was super helpful and responsive. I got in later in the evening and she welcomed me and showed me to the site. I woke up to the roosters crowing and took a morning walk around the farm to see the goats and sheep! I had a great time, would highly recommend!
