My husband and I really enjoyed our one night stay in the dome or as my husband referred to it , "the moon unit" 😂 Susan was super sweet , short walk to the sight , felt 100% safe , not far from their home but you still have privacy , we definitely enjoyed the outdoor space , the lights were lovely , plenty of complimentary firewood , a nice welcome book in the dome with a journal for you to write about your experience , we enjoyed reading what other guests had to say about their experience 🙂 We loved the coffee provided and the farm fresh eggs , nice touch 👌 When the outdoor shower is complete it will be very nice 😊 A mini fridge would've been perfect but we had a cooler for drinks/food so it worked out okay. Dome was clean , bed comfy , definitely recommend staying here and we will return 👌 The pigs were close by and super cute , not stinky like I thought they'd be and we loved the sounds of the roosters 🙂

Glamping Geo-dome on a small farm
While we don’t live far away our family
of 4 was in need of a short getaway to unplug before the hectic schedule of another school year. This place fit the bill wonderfully.
Fresh cut flowers in the dome, swinging by the fire while devouring s'mores, and waking up to the faint sounds of a snoring pig named Red... all priceless memories!
Susan is a great communicator via the app and Jeff is so hospitable—at our request he gladly showed us around the farm and taught us about their animals. When a storm rolled in during our stay they made sure we were safe—we couldn’t ask for better hosts!
We will be recommending our friends make a visit for a peaceful reset.
Our time at the dome could not have been any better! My fiancé and I had a MUCH needed, one night get away to the dome and we are already anxiously awaiting our next visit. The hosts are absolutely incredible with all of their amenities and you simply cannot beat the scenery. Perfect for the out of town feel, but close enough for anything you’d like to visit! From the fire pit to the surprise recliners, we only went inside to sleep and with a light rain, I’ve never slept better. Cannot speak highly enough of the dome and its hosts! We will absolutely be back, SOON.

Even in the rain it was a great trip! Very relaxing and we saw the chickens, pigs and even a deer! Highly recommend the experience to others.

So relaxing! Felt private while not being too remote. Jeff was nice enough to walk us around to meet the animals and tell us about the property. We’re hoping to go back soon!

It was very secluded and peaceful! Very cool place!
Perfect blend of feeling completely off grid and private while being able to go into town nearby and get your essentials.
Jeff and Susan were very attentive as host and have laid out a site that has been one of my favorites so far on HipCamp.
My only heads up an insider tip would be if you foresee it raining during your stay plan to bring some shoe or boot covers for walking through the woods on the trail to your site.

Susan was very communicative, and the property was easy to get to.
The dome was cute and comfortable and we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the option of air conditioning, and the nice sink with soap provided. There was a very nice selection of teas (although mostly uncaffeinated), in addition to the eggs, coffee, spices, etc. The skillets, utensils and dishes were very nice to have. Good variety of games, too.
We appreciated the peaceful setting, sitting in the swing and enjoying all the flowering plants. We cooked over the fire in the evening and had coffee with a lovely view inside the dome when it rained in the morning.
Overall a great experience! Hope to be back someday :)

A lovely little getaway! Susan and Jeff have a wonderfully hospitable setup. My boyfriend and I booked on a bit of short notice and anything we may have forgotten to pack was already thought about by our hosts. We can’t wait to come back!
My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay at Susan's glamping geo-dome. It was very charming and just as described. It was an easy hike from the parking to the campsite and we really appreciated the wagons to haul the supplies we brought. The coffee and eggs were a nice touch. The site was private and had beautiful views. We stayed two nights. I'd definitely return for another stay!

We had a wonderful time at the dome. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for an escape from our busy life. The hosts thought of just about everything!
We had a great time on our stay to celebrate a night away from the kids for my husband's birthday. From the late night s'mores to the early morning fresh farm eggs we enjoyed the ambiance of camping with modern comfort. The air conditioned dome was great for an uncharacteristically hot September night and we enjoyed a quiet night away from the kids under the stars.
I’ve been to many hip camps and this one is top tier. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Wonderfully kept property secluded and made the weekend for everyone
My husband and I have taken our 3 young kids tent camping several times before. Our kids are 4 years old, 3 years old and 1 years old and there is always so much to pack! We came to the geo dome for our 7th year anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by how much thought Susan and Jeff put into making this the perfect place for a getaway! We took are motorcycle so we had to pack light, and when we arrived we had everything we needed as far as utensils, plates, potholders, etc go! They even provided a griddle and spices. The property was beautiful and quiet! Definitely will be back again!

We loved it! The perfect Glamping experience! The full nature experience without a lot of the hassles. Susan was a great, flexible host.
We really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time staying in a dome and they have everything you need (except maybe take a cooler with ice for drinks) bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire.... Caleb (10yr old son) Loved feeding and watching the pigs, he slept on one of the cats and said it was super comfy . We truly enjoyed the savory, cheese, fruit and bread tray with clear instructions on how to prepare it (SO DELICIOUS 😋). We will definitely stay again it in the area !! Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing you place with us !!

We had such a fantastic experience! The dome was very comfortable. There were four of us, and the kids stayed on the supplied cots.
We were enamored with the sweet piglets that accompanied their mama. They were very entertaining neighbors. We spent the evening cooking hot dogs and s’mores over the fire while playing the cards and board games provided. I think we found a new favorite game in the Happy Salmon. We ended our night star gazing in the small open field just beyond the campsite.
The eggs and coffee for the next morning were such a nice treat. Our family has already decided that we want to make this an annual trip!

Jeff and Susan are the best hosts! I spent two nights at the dome with my kids and I felt very safe, very comfortable, and the farm could not be cuter. A lot of love goes into this property and it shows! Slate Run is across the street and the Living Farm is perfect for an outing with kids.
The dome has most everything you could need, it’s very clean and very comfortable. I didn’t even have to ask, but Jeff and Susan offered for us to use their Pack n play, which was appreciated. That kindness and thoughtfulness was present throughout our visit and my kids made me promise to visit again! Highly recommend! Thanks, Jeff and Susan!

Really well put together geo dome. Photos accurately depict site and amenities. Cooking gear provided is all in good condition. I brought a grate to cook over the fire, a cast iron skillet, cooking utensils, paper towels, plates and silverware - but they provided the same and all were clean and in good shape. I should have left my stuff at home. We didn’t use the Blackstone style grill, but it was also clean. It was really nice to have running water at the outdoor sink. Temps were high 80’s and ac in dome worked well, we did not use the ac overnight and had a great temp inside the dome for sleeping. Bed was comfy. Outdoor seating was good, we enjoyed the swing by the fire. Dome was close to pig enclosure and we had big fun watching and hearing Mommy pig and five babies. My husband and I had a very relaxing evening and I highly recommend for couples wanting to get away. I also think this would be a great place for a family with young kids who want to experiment with camping but not in a tent. The Slate Run Metro Parks Living Historical Farm is just up the road and would be a fabulous spot to visit with kids as well. Dome did have two electrical outlets inside. No negatives, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
We had running water, dishes, silverware, firewood, and even fire starters! What didn’t they have here???? We were greeted by the host shortly after arriving. He was very helpful and friendly. The dome is a little warm during the day but at night it cools down tremendously! I made burgers on the griddle and smores on the fire! No port a potties here…. They have a functioning toilet! The bathroom was super clean! The bed was ultra comfy! Will be back!

I stayed one night at this campsite and it was wonderful. The site was clean, cozy, and beautifully set up. It offered a perfect blend of comfort and nature, making for a relaxing and peaceful experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try glamping with style and ease!

Staying in the dome was a pretty magical experience. It just so happened that the lightening bugs were emerging with their lights on the night that we stayed and there seemed to be literally hundreds of them lighting up the trees. The pigs were another source of joy and amusement. Four or five ridiculously adorable piglets began chasing pestering the mama pig snorting and playing. It was quiet, private, and comfortable. A must-do if you love nature and peace and still want some of the comforts of home.

From the trail leading back to this campsite, to enjoying steak grilled on the open fire, everything about it was relaxing!! Jeff and Susan has taken the time to make a comfortable glamping spot. It was our first time in a GeoDome, and definitely no complaints. Very relaxing and enjoyable night!!

Glamping Geo-dome on a small farm
So many wonderful things at the Geo dome! Susan’s land is awesome with all the farm animals, easy to commute through the camp! The Geo dome was super clean and fully stocked with everything that was advertised! Her husband was so awesome with our son explaining the farm and what they do! Easy couple to talk to as well! Fun park three minutes down the road also that Jeff recommended. We took our cornhole set and a football to toss in the open field net to camp! It was just a fun and educational experience all around! I highly recommend staying here!!! We will definitely be back!
We loved our stay in the dome! It was a perfect set-up for our first camping trip with our two month old son! Amazing hosts who go above and beyond. We enjoyed all the amenities- eggs & coffee for breakfast! The heaters were great for a chilly night and kept us warm. I would definitely come back! Thankful for the memories that we made here :-)
I loved the momma pig and her babies when I arrived. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very nice. It was nice watching the sun come up and hearing the rooster crow.
I went for a short personal spiritual retreat, and it was exactly what I needed.

I’ve stayed at several glamping domes in the Midwest, but this one might just take the cake! A quaint little site with all of the amenities you could ask for to have a beautiful night in the Ohio countryside. You can tell the hosts value their guests and want it to be a perfect place to call home for the night! (Can’t wait to stay again)

We loved the calm peaceful environment at the dome! The cheese and fruit basket was delish and the directions were nice. We enjoyed the local coffee while sitting in the recliners in the meadow watching the squirrels and birds. The path was well maintained and the carts were nice to carry our things in. We arrived after dark and had no trouble navigating. Once arriving we were surprised and excited to find that they already started a fire and turned on the heaters. We were toasty in the dome over night and enjoyed our stay there.
