Our home is an 18th Century Farm Getaway. A beautiful one and a half hour drive from the heart of New York City to Harlem Valley. Our home is the nucleus of a flourishing medicinal herb farm. On our land we cultivate herbs to make our salve, tea, tincture and tonics. We also grow microgreens and wild mushrooms. This is made possible with the support of visitors like you who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved to share and build community with us. The land is surrounded by edible herbal plants. Enjoy an herb walk and harvest with one of our farmers. Join us for camping with a campfire, hiking, long walks and a private swim. The land is conveniently attached to the Appalachian Trail and sits on over 40 acres of preserved woodland forest to explore. The land also features a rustic outdoor shower next to the barn; access to fresh mountain water and a SunMar composting toilet. The main home has two plots for our communal kitchen garden, natural fountain pond of fresh watercress and creeks surrounding the home and property. Peaceful sounds of water and wildlife embrace you in the morning. Fireflies that melt into glistening stars and bright moonlight energize you by night.

Our site is an historic early 1800s farm getaway. A beautiful 1 1/2 hour drive from the heart of NYC to Harlem Valley conveniently located on direct route from Connecticut to New York. The space is the nucleus of a flourishing and beautiful organic medicinal herb farm.   On our land we cultivate microgreens, wild mushrooms, tinctures, tonics, salves, ciders, herbal hair products and fiber goods. None of this would be possible without the support of visitors like you who would love to roll up their sleeves and get involved to share and build community with us. Enjoy a wild and edible plant walk and harvest with the farmers by donation.  The land holds a creek, a spring, a stream and a small pond. If you're looking for a place to enjoy camping, hiking, long walks, private swims and bonfires, the land is conveniently attached to the Appalachian Trail and sits on over 40 acres of preserved woodland forest to explore and is close to the Ten Mile River as well as the Housatonic River.  We have a Sunmar composting toilet available. Peaceful sounds of water and wildlife embrace you in the morning. Fireflies that melt into glistening stars and bright moonlight energize you by night.   Whether it's Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, our home is a peaceful, rustic sanctuary for all. **Please bring**: - Your own toilet paper- Bugspray! (We grow plant medicine here - we don't treat the grounds)- You will find a headlamp or flashlight helpful- Kindling if you plan on having a fire

The campsite offers a spacious setting with a large fire pit and a beautiful creek, making it a great spot for relaxation and enjoying nature. However, its proximity to the road means vehicle noise can be a constant companion, which some campers found distracting. The host is noted for being accommodating and friendly, although communication could occasionally be improved. The site's rustic amenities, such as the composting toilet, might not be for everyone, but it adds to the camping experience for those seeking a more primitive stay.

Lola's Paradise at A Farm For All!
Nice place. Great outside fire location and right next to a stream. Only complaint is that site was close to the road.

Host was accommodating and flexible, given the private site and unmarked. A brook runs thru the site making it tranquil if you can get a spot close. A quaint spot- will be back.

Great hosts.
Friendly hosts with a great mission and a convenient field to camp in if you want to be near the Appalachian Trail. Near a lightly travelled road, so there is some vehicle noise.

Great site! Huge, mostly level, grassy area. Owner's dog Biscuit is super friendly. It was a bit hard to navigate to the location itself with as I am directionally challenged, and I would recommend any 4-wheeler over a sedan. The firepit is HUGE and amazing, I only ended up using maybe 1/5 of the size of the whole thing when my fire was at its largest. Site was by the highway but far enough that if you come from the city you will barely notice, unless you look directly towards the road in the dark and the headlights flash you in the eyes. That did happen a couple times. For the land, it was just grassy everywhere, from where you enter to the mouth of the bridge. The ground was very soft and moist even in dry weather. Not too much shade, and it got a bit windy but nothing crazy. They did mow the grass after i pitched my tent, thank goodness I took my allergy pills. There is a creek right next to the site which makes it slightly colder and wetter especially in October... BEWARE: bathroom situation is as written. Outhouse. Compost toilet. Cold. If you don't want to sit on it, bring a trash bag, disinfecting wipe, toilet seat liners, or bring your own toilet 😬 i think I might next time.

In the Pines at A Farm for All!
We had a wonderful time at A Farm for All this weekend. The staff/volunteers at the farm were very sweet and helpful, there were great amenities and the camp site itself was so pretty and secluded. We also did the herb tour which was fascinating. We highly recommend this camp site! Only warning is that the short climb to the site is no joke so if you’re bringing extremely heavy gear this might be a challenge for you. We were able to do everything between two adults and one 4yo so it’s not the end of the world either. Can’t wait to be back!

I don’t think the pictures do a good job of showing that the space is basically 30 ft away from Route 55 with almost no trees so you can see and hear the cars going by the whole time. There was a bunch of trash around the site. Check in was fine. There’s a grassy area with a fire pit. I think this listing would be fine if you’re looking to hang out around the fire with friends but not really a campsite, more of a backyard.
