We were coming in late in the day and late in the season and Western was extremely quick with response time and helping us pick a site. We only stayed over night but the grounds were well kept and the bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept as well.

My stay was excellent! The campsite was even better than I could’ve imagined. The only bummer is that I didn’t get to stay longer. I will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Western Woods was phenomenal! The check in process was super easy (even for us late arrivals) and the grounds were super well kept. The environment was friendly and it had anything you could need in a campsite. It was a great little community. I would recommend for all types of groups.

Western Woods is a lovely private campground with quite a few amenities. There’s a pool, horseshoe pits, volleyball net, basketball, etc. there are quite a few permanent campers there, but still plenty of spaces for regular campers. Just know that the pull through lots do not have any shade. Everybody was friendly and helpful. I can definitely see us visiting there again sometime. Not to mention that it is very convenient for visiting the Wisconsin Dells.

Clothes Dryers. I camp a lot in Indiana state parks and never really realized how important clothes dryers were while tenting in the rain. (This feature isn’t prominent in Indiana state parks). This small important feature was nice. The amenities were super clean with modern shower amenities. Everyone was very friendly and as a single woman, I felt safe. It is a gated community and the seasonal campers seemed to know who was who and helped me to feel safe and secure. My son and I will definitely be back for more. Thanks for a wonderful private secluded stay away from the masses.

On the one hand we were able to get an indoor cabin at the last minute because bad storms were predicted. That was very nice. Over all the place is a RV park with a few campsites for tents. Our neighbors were great but my personal preference is for a more tent centric camping. Thanks you!

We originally booked a tent site but the hosts were very kind and let us switch to a cabin instead, which we really appreciated. The location is super close to Wisconsin Dells, which was a huge plus! The little store on-site was cute and had some essentials, though we didn’t end up buying anything. The cabin itself was small but cozy and comfortable for the night. However, it wasn’t cleaned very well before our arrival—there was noticeable dust on the bed, sand all over the floor that you could feel when walking barefoot, and under the bed was very dirty. For the price, I was expecting a bit more cleanliness, especially since it was just for one night. That said, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the experience overall was peaceful and enjoyable. A good option if you’re looking to be close to the Dells without being right in the middle of the crowds.

We loved our two night stay at Western Woods! Our tent site 211 had decent shade and easy walk to very clean showers/restrooms/nice pool/laundry/playground. Staff was kind and the 4th of July parade was really sweet. Our 4yo had a blast. The store is well stocked with basic needs and fun items as well. They really took care of us when we missed our ferry and were delayed to arrive by a day. Friendly community with a mix of long term (seasonal residents) and short term campers. Great for families. Short drive to all the intense and bizarre and fun attractions in Wisconsin Dell ;)

It was a very nice and clean camp ground, and we loved that we could get a pull through since our set up is so long. The shower house was nice and clean. It’s very nice they have a pool which was to late in the year for us to use. The young lady that checked us in was very pleasant.

it was real nice to stay in a clean air conditioned cabin during our stay as it was hot and humid this last weekend. Something to be aware of, is you are limited with your water use, so no long showers or running water without being aware of your water usage. The plus is, they have public showers which are very clean and water pressure is great. It was not a problem for us, we just made sure to be mindful of our water usage. The king bed was awesome, literally didn’t know my sister was sleeping beside me. Bunk beds good, clean pillows and clean mattress protectors on mattresses. We forgot to bring a hand towel and kitchen towels, so don’t forget to bring those as well as bath towels, sheets and blankets/sleeping bag. There is a regular coffee machine, toaster, microwave, oven, stove top and kitchen sink. dishes, cups, silverware, serving utensils, opener, and a few tupperware pieces to store food. you may want to bring, ice as there is one ice cube tray. Make sure to bring charcoal for the weber. Also be sure to bring lawn chairs for the fire pit. There were some games and kids movies as well. The pool was AWESOME, clean and decent temp, bathrooms super clean as well :) Very friendly staff as well, prompt replies to a couple of texts I sent. Great experience with my 2 daughters and sister, thank you for making it so nice!

Didn’t expect this place to be the way it was. Gated community, clean bathrooms and showers. Sites were perfect size and clean. Very quiet after hours and friendly neighbors all over. They seem to have everything under control. Definitely coming back! My kids loved it.

Genuinely, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered! ♥️ My original spot had an issue and I was quickly and easily moved. The shop has plenty to offer. The showers/bathrooms are immaculate... The pool was lovely and clean as well. The lawn has a supply of sports equipment to use: soccer, volleyball, badminton, basketball.. They also had the cutest 4th of July parade. My daughter loved the names of the lanes, we stayed on Lasso Lane 😄 Highly recommended!

If you have a big tent, spots there are plenty big and spaced out. Level ground on grass. Porta Potties available if you don’t feel like walking to the main restrooms. Free showers are great and always available.
