The grounds were very well kept. We were right next to the river. Right close to all the bars and eating places. Piggly Wiggly right there if we forgot to bring something. We will be back.

We spent 4 nights in Site RV-5 which had a lot of shade and a beautiful view of the Pecatonica River. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. The campsite is walking distance to town, though we really didn't visit many businesses except the grocery store (walking distance)! The campground, town and rail trail are taken over by ATV'ers on summer weekends, bicyclists beware!
Only complaint was the sound from the racetrack on Friday night drove us indoors. But that was countered by the clippity-clop of an Amish buggy driving by one morning. Would definitely come stay here again.

Great access to the river and the amenities of Darlington. Bathroom and showers are very clean.
Beautiful campgrounds with clean restrooms and 50 cent showers, nestled along a beautiful river walkway, right in the picturesque town of Darlington, Wisconsin.
There was no host on site.
I would stay here again. It is not isolated or secluded.
It was a little noisy due to a drag race across town and then at 10 pm all the sirens in town went off to gather the volunteer fire dept run. After that, all was peaceful.
