You'll have a clear view of the public beach and park across the lake, all while enjoying the peaceful seclusion of your own shoreline campsite. This site is part of the scenic Painted Rock Path, a glowing trail of hand-decorated rocks illuminated by solar lights at night. Guests have full access to the entire peninsula, including a shared lakeside campfire area, a new-style outhouse with a flushing camp toilet and hot water sink, and multiple scenic spots to relax, explore, or connect with nature. Great lakeview camping!

We had a wonderful time here! Directions were easy and clear. Upon arrival, the driveway was a little steep and narrow. There's a short trail with cute painted rocks that leads to the campsite. You might need a wagon if you have a lot of stuff to carry. It has a beautiful view of the lake. It's well shaded and mosquitoes were minimal. We enjoyed cruising and fishing the lake. The water is clean and clear. I also appreciated the outhouse with flushable toilet and hot water. If you're wondering, we had no mobile data connection here. It was noisy at night till 10:30pm but it might be just the holidays. A pontoon(no motor though) and paddleboat was provided for use. The hosts were nice and communicative. Overall, we had great experience here and we would recommend it!

Pros: Great wooded property with nice amenities. Best 'camping' restroom I've seen to-date. Cons: Was not as private or quiet as we were expecting. We heard noisy neighbors, dogs, lawn mowers throughout our stay.

My partner and I enjoyed an absolutely perfect birthday weekend, celebrating and just being. Directions were clear. Accommodations were beyond wonderful. I would recommend and will continue to refer this place. I/we will return again and yearly. A piece of paradise, to find some much needed peace. We are happy campers.
