We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia.  Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles.  The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce.  We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

Rural Camping Heaven so close by!
A little piece of rural camping heaven but not hours and hours away. We could not have asked for more it was just perfect for the last fire of the year! The fact we could take our doggie was the highlight !

Lovely site but noisy.
Beautiful vista and the welcome from Andrew was 10/10. We live in a very quiet suburb and found the road noise and aircraft to much for us.

Good, with a few let downs
I enjoyed my first time camping at Chittering Acres (Back Bush camp) and although Reprieve is a much nicer camp setting with beautiful open field views, I had two issues: 1) the previous people did their business too close to the fire area and it didn’t smell nice, lots of flies too. 2) there were campers close-by (approx 150m away separated by a small patch of bush, so too close for privacy) that were very noisy right up until midnight, which ruined my evening. Apart from these issues the rest was nice: lots of beautiful nature around, roos everywhere at sunset and a friendly host.

A very nice private campground. The dog loved being able to roam around the campsite and we enjoyed our time too. We look forward to coming back again.

Back Bush
Back Bush is perfect for people who really want to get away from it all and recharge. So quiet and secluded.
