With tree-lined RV sites and serene wooded tent camping by the riverside, guests can immerse themselves in nature while enjoying the privacy and tranquility of our beautiful surroundings. Our campground features a variety of accommodations: Full Hook Up RV Sites, primitive camp sites for tents by the river and fully equipped rental cabins - some even feature hot tubs! Guests can take advantage of our expansive riverfront, boasting a thousand feet of prime fishing spots and one of the finest swimming holes in the area. For those seeking adventure, we provide full-service tubing, kayaking, and canoeing trips in the heart of the Greenbrier's best paddling waters. With a range of Class I to Class III rapids, our offerings cater to paddlers of all skill levels, ensuring an exciting experience for everyone. All our tent sites are right on the banks of the river. All Gravel. Some are right next to the water; others are within view and steps away from the launch area. Each site has an approximately 10′ x 10′ gravel tent pad. These sites are all primitive (no electric) and driving down by the river is at your own risk. We offer plenty of parking further up on the campground. some sites work with a pop up camper - others do not. It also depends on how high the river is at the time. If you wish to camp with a pop up camper - make sure to reach out to use before to see if proper sites are available.

The River Retreat cabin is in a prime location on our grounds. It’s in a wooded setting behind a privacy fence with an amazing view where you can enjoy the sound of river rapids. There are two bedrooms: the main has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has a full-size and a single bed (maximum 6 guests; rates listed are based on double occupancy incl. a sleeper couch). It includes a full kitchen, bath, and living area with futon. There is a spa just outside. This is a pet-friendly unit.

Very nice campground! The grounds are clean and well kept, the hosts helpful. Tent sites are right along the river with space between sites, so you have an amazing view the whole time.

A great place for a weekend camp, but make sure you bring some padding or mattress to sleep on. The tent sites feel secluded but you still clean and easily accessible bath facilities. The staff is super friendly and keep the grounds clean. Most of the sites are beside the river so you can leave your tent and dip a toe in if you'd like. I want to reiterate the need for some padding though, as well as someway to potentially level your sleeping area. The sites have some large(ish) rock gravel on them which can make getting your tent placed just right a little difficult.

Lovely spot on the river near the train tracks. Our spot was the only with a sandy base for the tents; judging by the gravel infill they had some issues with Hurricane Helene that I'm sure they'll resolve in time. Absolutely being your own tent protection if you're camping on the groubd. Parking was a challenge with our large car, but manageable. All the sites feel decently private, and although it's quite a trek to the bathhouse there is a portajohn near the sites. Really worth it if you like swimming the river, floating or boating, trainspotting or the WVRF. We'll certainly be back!

Amazing little campground!

This is a great little campground. RV sites are really close to the river which is gorgeous to walk along. Full Hookup - Overall great little spot. Their Cabins look cozy, too. Great wifi, clean bathhouse. Def more of a spot for a cute little camping getaway, not so much a one night stay park (all sites are back in). The tenting down by the river looks awesome. Must be so fun in the summer!
